Another thing is. I don't know how many years she was there for, but all the changes she made will have happened over a few years. So it would have been slow progression, that perhaps students didn't really notice. This film has to cram all that into 90 minutes or whatever. So, a change that actually took years to make is made to look more radical and dramatic and awesome in this film, simply because of time restraints.
I've noticed that a lot of ex students are commenting on this, saying that this wasn't the way it was. I'm sure that some/all of the events are a bit exaggerated, but to be fair, when i was a student in high school, I knew nothing about how well the school was being managed or what went on behind the scenes. So I doubt that ex students from St George's do either. I do find it hard to believe that all the students just happened to change their attitude when she arrived. I'm sure she did something

My point is, stubbs was not the main reason the school turned around, this whole drama shows as if shes a GOD.
ahhhh comon, you guys dont really think that she was the main cause for the school to improve??? this film is very biased, i should know, i was there from the day she took over till the day she left. yes she brought some positives but she was not the main factor, some events are FAKE, eg the grafiti in the gym and god know how many others were fake too. it has been exagerated A LOT. it was her luck that student were more civilised when she took over. plz go on the 1st part and read my comment!
the reason that she gained control of the school is because she knew she could get them with words and she was determined not to let them beat her teenagers get bored if you dont back down
