which drums set you used from steven slate ! and did you separate the drums line as waves inside your mix or you just done the mixing as a hole drums ? !!
plus do you use parallel compression to your drums ?
W Twoim wykonaniu podoba mi się szczególnie kawałek As I Lay Dying - Bury Us All - to specyficzne brzmienie elektryków urzeka.
Niewiarygodne. Też mam TonePorta, a o takim soundzie mogę jedynie pomarzyć...
Tak, toneport służy mi aktualnie jedynie za kartę dźwiękową oraz do nagrywania czystego sygnału gitary, dzisiejsze ampsimy naprawdę mają ogromny potencjał. :)
Hej, przester dopalam wtyką tse 808 v1.0 (do znalezienia na googlach) Jeżeli chodzi o reverby, delaye - korzyststam zazwyczaj we wbudowanym w moim programie do edycji dzwieku (Sonar 8.5) bądź tez w revalverze mk3. :)
Wow man, this is tight. Let me ask you, how do you get those great-sounding tones? I mean, the guitar sound (and the overall sound too) is very professional-like (maybe it is!). And also what programs did you use to record the ambience stuff underneath the song? I wanna be able to do this aswell so I would really appreciate it if you could answer my questions.
I use toneport gx as my soundcart and mixing all tracks in sonar 8.5 PE :)
It's hard to describe all proces of mixing/get sounding tones, in a few words i often use ampsims + impules + trilogy (bass) + steven slate ex 3.5 (drums) and mix it in my d.a.w - sometimes for 8 hours :D
I've been using the legion, and though I sort of hate the sound on its own, when mixed with a 7170 in dual/quad tracking it really fleshes out! Great work as always!
Hey man, it's quite easy ;) I use guitar pro 4 to write drums , then i load the midi files to my fruity loops session and set/compose "blocks" from FL - on the guitar pro it looks like this 42 42 42 46 / 42 42 42 46 - 42 is closed, and 46 is open hi hat :)
@WidekMusic The tough part is mixing them after that. From my experience EZ drummer's HiHat samples need a big of EQing, mostly treble boost to get your current sound. You might also have to adjust the midi note velocity to with EZdrummer, since guitar pro outputs everything at equal velocity, as far as I know. Good luck!
Right! I am on the unusual a part of Youtube again.

You should steal Howard Jones from Killswitch as your vocalist :3

How did you do the drums like that? especially going from closed to open hi-hats?
I use EzDrummer and I can't get it to do that as clearly as you.
