I do not know how does this affect me, but it feels like it.

Raven is my shadow totem ( Shadow totems bring kad luck and even death ), I see it's shadow flying next to me. I can even summon it.

I think that it scares ghosts away.

The ghost's won't come near me when I'm with the raven.

It follow's me, and I'm learned to like it.

@HulluRichie Ravens are also messangers. Also not all shadows are bad luck or symbolic of death. A raven as a totem gives you a direct ear to the divine.

Ravens are the warnings of death or disaster. Three deaths or disasters. Two flew away because the death or disaster was done being warned. The other stayed to keep warning the person. Like the dream of the raven.
