PLUS. there's logo for the LGLT community. And every other channel on TV has predominately white lineups. Minority groups in general feel excluded so they create content for themselves, unique to their culture and taste.
Not any more so than Telemundo or other Spanish only channels. Personally I don't find such things "racist", promoting and celebrating heritage/culture can be positive and uplifting, especially when there are so few other outlets for expression.
I find it a bit odd that there is separate channels and news that hight light and cater for African-Americans (eg. Black family channel etc), doesn't this advertised segregation only fuel racism, when society is constantly told there is a division/difference between races through the media, doesn't it make it that little more difficult to put an end to racism? Just a thought
If you wanted to end the segregation, then why not allow more shows that feature characters who are not white on the bigger networks? Doing something as simple as this would reduce the need for things like this.
Most of TV is predominantly white. If people don't want channels like this, then they should open up for more variety rather from everyone but as we can see, they don't do this. I find it funny that people whine about the lack of white channels as if there is a sever lack of shows that feature all white casts. :|

It´s sad that there isn´t white family channel and never will be because it would be racist, but this sure isn´t.
