I disagree with most of the people who are commenting on this video...At no point in Gungrave does Bradon either atone for his past sins or see the error of his ways within the Mafia. He always remained loyal to big daddy's millennion. Watch the scene with the two debt collectors/Brandons friends, when they are explaining to mika why he is protecting her.

Brandons return is his following the "Code of Iron" and destroying "Harry's millenion" ,not revenge against Harry.

@youthnando91 it is a slow anime. takes almost half the series to get back to where it started. slow isnt bad though, it really set the scene well. One Piece is kinda slow, and its my favorite, and the favorite of alot of people.

@youthnando91 actually on the computer, you get the original uncut version in japanese with english subtitles, not a censored american version, and they dont show the uncut versions of anything on tv. also on the computer, i can download and watch the anime on my own time, and not have to wait for the sceduled tv version full of commercials.

Overall though, the english version, at least of this anime, I believe was far better as of voice acting than the japanese with subs. I watch most of my anime on animeshipuuden or animefreak, both work fairly well.

It's not really an action orientated for the first chunk of it. But i enjoyed the good story for a change

Personally, my favorite part is seeing Grave's redemption for his sins after he died. But it's just as important to see the character development in the first half of the anime as it is to get the character fulfilment in the second half.

At the same time, I've always had a strange weak spot for heroes that come back from the dead for their justice. The Crow, Grave, even the Chinese General in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor who comes back as a crusty, dusty mummy to fight the Emperor.

It's always one of the first shows i reccomend to people looking for something other than action action action all the time, this and Gintama.
