I've emailed Square-Enix a few times about this last year and they've told me that SH is going to localized but the main issue was the vertical text-boxes and rearranging/translating the text for NA fans so it isn't awkward to read is rather difficult. Considering the revamped Sigma Harmonics: Coda features horizontal text-boxes as well as additional gameplay options, we may get a American release sooner than we thought. Let's hope for the best.

Why would you compare this to FFX? This is two different platforms and two very different stories here. Granted the two were both composed by Masashi Hamauzu, but the plot is so different that comparison seems hard to me.

Yeah, but the plot is one of the main factors that shape musical character. Music is derived from so many things that it can range from the plot to personality of a character to settings and scenery.

bit of a late reply, but there is now news about it coming out in the US yet. It's getting A LOT of press in Japan, I believe, and is on its way to be a hit. Hits in Japan=coming over to the US.

The music is being composed by the great Masashi Hamuazu who composed SaGa Frontier II, Unlimited Saga, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, a great deal of Final Fantasy X and the soon to be released Final Fantasy XIII. He is one of the best out there.
