ok laptops can get wet and run whilke wet my cousins think pad has a emergancy spill drain system so the laptop dosent die but gts wet an water pours out the bottom and i had a ibm blashed with hot choklat while open cleanes it alittle and it worked but eventualy the cpu died because of heat dammage because i fogot the cooler off ='( but i got a computer with the same cpu but faster and swaped it was great after

You have to use distilled water otherwise your laptop will not work longer than year. Also you must be happy that there wasn't blown components and was enough just clean it. Usualy after liquid damage fails CPU or motherboard itself and most of them booting but working shortly...
