@Synkro834834 well basically there is something blocking the lens of your dvd drive you can open the disc tray and blow through and blow about 6-7 times quite hard so you can clear it or you can shake or tap you xbox lightly . Good luck p.s. It best to steer clear of compressed air .you could get a fan to blow the dust to.

i have had my 360 for 2 years ad i have only had minor issues such as it sometimes not recognising a disk when its in the tray but my main problem at the moment is when i watch a dvd the audio will randomly become jumpy and broken up or cut out entirely i can fix this easily by pausing the dvd then playing it but i would rather eliminate the problem entirely so if anyone can help me that would be great.

Have you blown a fuse? If you blow a fuse while your 360 is on it is set to its default date (when the system was released)

My xbox recently decided to commit half suicide. When i turn it on, it works fine but then within couple mins or even in 30 min or an hour or as soon as I turn it on everything freezes, and there are zigzags all over the screen making really high pitch scratchy noise, but the ring shows one green light. However when i turn it off after about 5 min it makes one loud cracking noise, do u know wats screwing up my console by any chance?

depends if you have 3 red light and the middle green light is flashing with them it means overheating but if its just green and no flahing but with 3 flashing red lights you xbox is damaged by heat internally and you need to get it fixed

Actually I have a pretty unique problem if any of you guys are up for some problem solving. My xbox 360's left audio sound is almost completeley out, I can still hear through it but hardly any sound comes out even if i turn it way up. Now here's where it got weird. I went to play n trade swapped my HDMI cable for one of theirs, attatched it to my 360 and guess what? Same problem, no sound even with a brand new HDMI cable. ... so obviously its something wrong with the xbox 360 console its self...

Make sure you get the one with Jasper. There's a hole on top where you can see the back of the console.

Make sure the power supply reads : 12---12V1 then you got a jasper console and the date is November 2009 or newer. The Manufator date.
