  • I'd be ashamed to be a member of a party that opposes Genetically Engineered food, effective solutions for global warming that do not wreck corporations, Nuclear power, Vaccinations, Animal research, "chemicals", and any other thing that they do not think is "natural".

  • I'm a republican and I don't believe the Earth was "created" 6000 years ago, I believe in evolution, and I believe in man made climate change (not the imaginary doomsday version that you liberals believe, the scientifically backed real phenomena). Fuck you YT

  • @supersmashbros011

    And fuck you too caveman

  • @supersmashbros011 Good for you, but the fact is your party in general is behind on these issues more than most democrats. You also do the same kind of generalizing when you say all liberals believe in a doomsday version of climate change. I don't think YT hates views that are actually conservative , just the way the republicans are behaving now and the things they support now.

  • @mrpayne123 The Democrat Party is just as anti-science as the Republican party. They oppose all GE foods simply because they are produced by a corporation that they hate (they claim they oppose it because it "isn't natural" which is not a scientific way of thinking) They oppose Nuclear Power because they cannot distinguish it from nuclear bombs. They are more inclined to oppose vaccinations because they are "an evil corporate conspiracy to make people sick with autism".

  • @mrpayne123 The republican party may house the majority of religious nut jobs, but the democrat party houses the majority of eco-fascist anti-science anti-civilization lunatics. Both parties hate science equally.

  • @1clackie I'm pretty sure you don't know who made it either

  • I am christian but I have the guts to say I don't know when the Earth was made. All I know is who made it

  • @1clackie No, you don't.

  • @1clackie who made it ???

  • USA OH USA

    Y R U SO DUMB ?

  • Just another Sharia Law promoter. It works so well in Muslim countries they've come to the U.S. to be past w/ the help of shark lobbyist.

  • How much are those uranium-miners paying to this sick superstitious bitch to spread their lies?

Creationism is the pinnacle of human stupidity.

  • I like that woman she is christian like me.

  • Who told you the paintings in the cave are 30,000 years old? Just because some so called scientist said they were 30,000 years old we have to believe them? Or did the paintings come with a date? Its all speculation. Fuck republicans and democrats.

  • @AWAREOFTRUTHdotCOM there are scientific proofs you dumb christian.

  • @hakai123456789 proofs for what? what are you talking about? who are you?

  • @AWAREOFTRUTHdotCOM the idea of you denying the age of the writings on the wall in the great desert of south Libya is very idiotic. which is certainly making you a retard among the society.

  • @hakai123456789 were those writings carbon dated?

  • @hakai123456789 If you got your soul took by "science", that is your problem. I do not really care about your society, so whatever...

  • @AWAREOFTRUTHdotCOM so you believe a book over a scientist.

  • @peteymandem any day

  • @AWAREOFTRUTHdotCOM well you have no right to attempt to influence opinion as you are not receptive of other arguments. You are the equivalent of a child covering it's ear shouting lala.

  • @peteymandem Sorry you got your twat cramped over the fact I do not accept stupid science. I will belive in God, you can believe whatever. You are right, I am not receptive to stuff I have already rejected. I am not claiming to know how old the earth is, to do so would be dishonest.

  • @AWAREOFTRUTHdotCOM your name is aware of the truth. you are openly shouting about your fairy godmother. if you don't want to accept science then go and live in a cave because the only reason we are talking right now is because of science. go and believe in your primitive fantasies and evil attempt at morality.

  • @peteymandem a boring book by the way. it's gonna be so funny when after the christians destroyed civilization the new world religion will be harry potter's witnesses. i'll be 90 years old and will desperately try to convince them that it was just a fucking fantasy book and they will yell at me "heresy! shove a broomstick up his ass".

  • @UberTankred LOL

  • @UberTankred I believe they call that being "Quidditch'd"

  • @smithcas86 :DDD yes, i guess that's the correct technical term!

  • @giftedkidrules That's not what she said. She said the Earth has been here 6k years. If you speak any English at all that means just what you think it means. She's a complete moron.

  • A Christian once tried to convince me that because the bible is so old, that fact alone makes it accurate and legitimate. I'm amazed that there aren't Christians running around saying that cell phones don't really work--there's actually an illusion in effect that makes us THINK they work. IE, they'll throw legitimate science out the window if it doesn't fit their desired perspective, yet as long as it doesn't contradict their beliefs, science is acceptable and reliable.

  • WTF! crazy much! and these people are in the us government! oh shit we ars doomed!

  • I will also like to add that a lot of the best minds, technology and scientific findings originate from the US but the individuals (scientists, engineers etc.) have little to no power or resource outside of their lab or work environment. And that's the saddest part. :-(

  • Honestly, I can't imagine a Canadian politician being this stupid. Lol, you Americans are one of a kind! You might not have any intelligence but you are all good at one important thing though, killing and profiteering. Kudos on that.

  • @abusivepersian Canadians are stupid enough to still have a queen.

  • @AWAREOFTRUTHdotCOM No Canadian excepts the royal family as their monarch, although technically speaking every bill passed needs the monarchs office signature, but keeping the monarch maintains close relationship with the UK, more than just a contract relationship of trade and military but a relationship which makes the European people feel Canadians as honorary comrades. Travel to europe and you will realize despite trade between nations, how much the people loath your kind.

  • @abusivepersian Sorry, youre still under a monarchy. You n england need to catch up. I have seen the queen in Canada caaling herself your queen. When you come out of the middle ages let me know.

  • To deny the truth in the face of overwhelming evidence is not just stupid it is retarded!

  • @Clockwork399 Carbon Dating isn't accurate to determine the date of the earth...well that's because carbon dating isn't the preferred method for dating rock & fossils -_- . In fact there are a great many methods used in radiometric dating that accurately measure the decay of radioactive elements in rocks, meteorites, & fossils. Which in turn can confidently measure the earth to be 4.5 billion years old. Yup...you're welcome

  • who gave these politicians a voice??

  • @Clockwork399

Then in your fucked up mind, does that mean it's impossible for you to know about Jesus? After all, NO ONE WAS THERE, right? ROFL!

  • It is impossible to know how old the earth is. 4.5 billion years old? Impossible to know, lets not get going on the faults of carbon dating. First off, there are two types of science. Observational science and historical science. EVERYBODY agrees with observational science. It exists in our world, a computer, a car, all science. But you get yourself in trouble when you claim to know the earth is (insert age). We do not know for sure. No one does, because no one was there at the time. Simple.

  • @Clockwork399 ... we can be sure of one thing though, it ain't 6000 years. by the way, no one knows anything for sure. no method is perfect. but saying that we "know" the earth is 4.5 billion years is shorthand for saying that it's science's best theory. unless you have a better method or theory to contribute, please step aside. science doesn't know everything, but that doesn't mean you can fill in the gaps with whatever fairytale most appeals to you. (as a wise man once said)

  • @purrot We can't be sure of anything when it comes to that. Science has done some wonderful things and will continue to do so. But there is a difference between historical science and observational science. Big difference. Historical science forces us to use assumptions. It is impossible to know the age of the earth even through carbon dating, which has its flaws. Technically the Bible is the first piece of evidence telling how old the world is. It doesn't say, but doing a bit of math tells you

  • it would have been AMAZING if an aid or someone had gone over to her right after she said that and whispered "the Earth is actually billions of years old", and corrected her on the spot, but that would be in a almost perfect world...in an actual perfect world someone like that would not exist.

  • I know we shouldn't over generalize... but damn there are so many idiot republicans representing us... If I were there I'd start making Ray Comfort banana jokes.

  • @TheEuphoniousFox Uranium is radioactive. Every single isotope of uranium is radioactive. Some more than others, but all of them are definitely at least weakly radioactive.

  • claiming that the world is 6,000 years old is a very materialistic calculation of time. The bible says this "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day." If in revealed scripture the lord told us how time works for him, then why do people still say 6,000 years? People who think that the earth is that young are believers in a limited god, but the lord's true devotees know that time is relative.

  • Yall unchristian bastards are going to hell! Believe! I want all of you ppl to going to heaven and live enternal life! I don't hate ppl but it's true that you will go to hell!

  • @TheDaniel7310 Yeah and you're gonna get overrun by a unicorn..

  • @G3JWZ ......weirdo...stop commenting on my status....

  • @TheDaniel7310 The odds are pretty much the same you know :p

  • yes it is...

  • So did the last Ice Age never happen?

  • World Is 6,000 Years Old!

    How did she get elected?

  • What's REALLY beyond my understanding, is how they can claim this 6,000 year old nonsense when Jericho (Which is in the fucking bible ) is known to be at least 9,000 years old. Christ on a fucking cracker, Religions are sandbags on the ankles of enlightenment.

  • A reindeer herder in Russia's Arctic has stumbled on the pre-historic remains of a baby woolly mammoth poking out of the permafrost, local officials said on Friday.

The herder said the carcass was as perfectly preserved as the 40,000-year-old mammoth calf Lyuba discovered in the same remote region four years ago, authorities said, adding that an expedition had set off hoping to confirm the "sensational" find.

  • STUPID FUCKIN PEOPLE, NO WONDER PEOPLE LAUGH AT THE US, THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED SCIENCE WOMAN

  • the world is 4.5billion years old, why do people belive that religous crap!? 6000 years my ass :D

    thumb up if you agree

  • Regardless if you believe in Christianity or not, and regardless if you believe in an old earth or not, (btw, some Christians believe in an old earth) Cenk Uygur still shouldn't make fun of someone's religious beliefs. It's fun and games when he makes fun of Sarah Palin or someone's stupid comments, but do you know the kind of SHIT he would get in if he said 'How can you believe that you will get 70 virgins in heaven when you die?' in response to Sikhism or another Middle Eastern religion? A LOT

  • Whats the cleaning lady doing talking about Uranium ... I know that was a mean comment ... it is totally insulting to cleaning ladies and I'm sorry

  • ''i think she confused her birthday with the worlds birthday''

    fucking old cunt

  • 6000 years. The Egyptian Empire is about at least 1000 years older than that. I am not even talking about Sumeria. I know Ancient Egypt is said to have been created (with lower and higher kingdom) 5000 years ago but still. How about the civilizations in America who came here around 10000 B.C? Their ignorance is unbelievable. The bible is not an historical book. Stop thinking it is. The bible is about beliefs not facts. Even the bible doesn't say the number of years Earth is old.

  • @SarukiKnight The problem is that the Bible does state a great deal of things as being absolute facts. And since Historians contradict these absolute facts, either historians must be wrong or the Bible - and the Bible is clearly not wrong, so we should ignore the historians, who clearly lie.

  • @neverfearchrisishere The bible is wrong on every single point. Look, your beliefs in the bible are not facts. The bible never been absolutely truth and never will be. The bible also lies incredibly about many many things. It has been rewritten over and over again adding mistakes after mistakes after mistakes plus it was translated, add that up. Faith is not fact, the bible is spiritual. Keep your head in the sand and blindly follow what those idiots tell you if you want.

  • @SarukiKnight My point (which you seem to of missed) was that if your a Christian, believing in the Bible is essential, since its a primary tenit of faith that it is written by God - So if your a Christian, being an 'extreme' evangelical Christian that denies anything that contradicts the Bible is the only Logical course.

  • @neverfearchrisishere I didn't miss your point, quite the opposite. The bible was never written by god and it never was stated as so. Only recent versions might say it was. The bible was written by men and men alone. Religion is flawed because it is man made, it is not divine at all. Keeping your head in the sand and denying everything that contradicts the bible is stupid as it can offer a different perspectives. Focusing on one source is never a good thing.

  • It makes my head hurt listening to this logic. O_o

  • A goose could shit in a pond in BFE and it's more news than tyt..give it up..air America failed ...quit ragging on what's wrong with republicans or conservatives..why try tearing down ppl's beliefs..find real solutions..believe in God or abortion or Fuck politics..you are just as bad as the ppl you tear down..let's talk instead of insult...tyt is just insults without hey i disagree here is why

  • how do people THAT stupid get into your political system, we have dumbassess too, but daaaaamn

  • Facts have a well known liberal bias.

  • wow this would be really really funny if she Wasnt a senator..

  • Facepalm

  • Can we fire politicians based on stupidity? If not, we should " take the power back".

  • Only in America..

    Hahahahahahahah

  • Comment removed

  • Please forgive the religious nutjobs. They are just dumb.

  • We have a tree that is about 10,000 years old. Oops.

Also the fossil fuels takes way longer to form, and the fossils themselves. As in more than millions of years.

Of course some Christians think fossils are put on earth to test men's faith, and fossil fuel is what God put here for us to utilize.

I just had a break through, God IS Science. What better way to learn about God than through science and not promoting God by making up fake science like the creationists are doing. :P

  • @Neosaigo I think God put Christians on this earth to test my faith.

  • @deepstarsix hahahaha .. and all religious people, you may add.. i certainly agree with you. but more importantly, that's a view i could subscribe to when my brain is getting constantly bombarded by their idiocy to the point i feel i'm going to lose my sanity.

  • @deepstarsix the more crazy ones, I agree! I end up associated with them for loving Jesus, and unfortunately people then assume I'm a crazy bigot

  • @deepstarsix So you really think that God would plant a bunch of bones in the earth to test your faith? Either you're in denial or God has some serious self-esteem issues.

    -Coral Yoshi

  • @Neosaigo I think god is a car tire. I figure I will make up a new definition for god too.

  • it is not 6000 years old what about dinasors and romans. they were around over 6000 years ago.

  • @js01716 lol sorry dude i agree with you but that is really stupid. The romans were around 2000 years ago lol! but yes dinosaurs were around millions of years ago.

  • This once more proves it.

A vote for the Republicans is a vote for Creationists.

  • I consistently vote against Republicans.

  • oh nooooo *republican shame*

    good coverage

  • This is a standard viewpoint you get from Creationists. It comes from a belief that God won't let us destroy the earth, because it has to be here after the end of times. So it doesn't matter what we do. Also - 'God' gave it to us to use. So.. the mandate. Toss in the Millennialists (ones who believe the End of Times are near) they don't believe it matters, because Jesus is coming soon and he'll fix it all, put it to rights. So, again, it doesn't matter. Effen idiots.

  • I wonder how you can hold office in government while believing disproven myths written 2000 years ago

  • Nah, she just watched familyguy - you know, the episode about Carl Sagan's cosmos ( redneck edition) so she believes that the earth is four*HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF YEARS OLD.

  • Scary man.

  • How do we know... we weren't alive then lol... looks like a nonsensical paradox to me?

What does make sense though is the mayan time line and how that calendar works... And do you know why I believe it's the truth... because pope gregory slaughtered millions to install his own calendar...! Fortunately Ian xel lungold and his friend had managed to convert it for us so it would make absolute sense of the text from the bible... We are living the 9th wave of the mayan calendar on the 7th day ;-)

  • krÀss_lêütÉ_sücht_mÅl_nàch:_olikohle_Àûf_góOglÊ_voll_gêïl

  • is this guy a mulatto?

  • @whtpwr No, he's Turkish, hence the name of his show: The YOung Turks. "Mulatto"? What's that about?

  • is this guys real name simon shlomowitz?

  • the people on young turks are actually turks and are totally unwelcome in the USA.

  • Well America lacks maps :)

  • the earth is 426 years old, and it was created by Ron Jeremy.

  • Can you imagine this woman becoming President one day with her finger on the nuclear trigger!

    It doesn`t bear thinking about.

America, please wake up and stop electing basket cases into positions of power!

  • @captainbimble don't give them idea's ffs lol :-p

  • man this guy is ignorant. you just cant watch this guy from any viewpoint and not get offended.

  • only in america.

  • trying to use logic against a creationist is like trying to use a slingshot against a tank. it just bounces off.

  • When Americans say anyone can be president.........they really do mean ANYONE!

Why don't you give up on elections and just have a lottery?

  • Do they have schools in America? How does anyone in america graduate without understanding that evolution IS a fact and that with world is much other then 6,000 years old?

  • @adoubled321 The churches here are working hard to pollute peoples' minds and erode our current body of knowledge to make room for mythology and magic.

  • @adoubled321 You can ask that with pleasure! America CHOSE to GO BACKWARDS!

  • I see a good education is not required to be a senator, this is very sad indeed.

  • @toastoflife @toastoflife As quoted by a senator (who seems like a nice, friendly guy) in the documentary Religulous after being asked about believing literally in Genesis creation, he says, "[chuckle] You don't have to pass an IQ test to be in the senate [smile]."

Then there was an awkward moment of silence.

  • i think genk is the real retard

  • @ruinedfaith09 You're welcome!

  • @ruinedfaith09 *are

  • 10.000 at the most.....at least according to science

  • @IndieGameDevCorner you poor brainwashed fool.

  • ::face palm::

  • Taking into account the idea that God "created the Heavens and the Earth," if the Earth was created 6,000 years ago, that would logically mean that Heaven was also created 6,000 years ago, except Heaven is "eternal" and logically couldn't have been created at any point; it just always is. Therefore, the argument that the Earth is 6,000 years old fails.

  • @SatanicFilmHouse Nifty point. Although the christian tards would somehow argue that "well, heaven wasn't eternal until god made it, and then, from the point of making, it became eternal" or something paradoxical like that. It's kind of like watching monkeys play with their own poop, before they fully realize it's just a stinky byproduct that comes out of their ass. They are fascinated by it and see all sorts of magical things in its comprising.

  • @Ghorghinahn I think they just obsess over the creation myth more than anything because it contradicts the theory of evolution, which they can't stand because it reminds them that they're (we're) animals.

  • 4.5 Billion years. DDDDUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHH

  • I know of a prophet that said 170 years ago that the earth was 455,000,000 years old. Some Christians have false beliefs. Disproving false ideas does not disprove Christianity.

  • @NeedsSingingLessons if you trace the lineage from adam to current day, thats a little over 6,000 years. your bible is false

  • Everyone knows scientists are in league with Lucifer. It's a demonic conspiracy so the devil can convince as many people as he can to turn away from god so he can have more souls on his side when the world ends, so he'll win. That's how it works. The one with the most souls on his side when armageddon hits is determined the winner. God has no control over this, even though he's omnipotent. It's all based on the number of souls that are in heaven or hell at that crucial moment. Basic logic. Duh.

  • @Ghorghinahn

I really hope that's a joke. If God isn't omnipotent, why call him god? Also, if this really WERE what you say it is, it'd make everyone reject both sides because no one in their right mind would let these egomaniacle bastards manipulate them like this regardless if the scientific evidence we have is true or not.

  • @NUTCASE71733 Yeah. Thanks for ruining my joke by making me admit it was a joke. Sheesh. I guess it's my fault - dry humor doesn't really play well over the typed word. Hail Satan! Not really. Praise the lord! Not really.

    Cthulhu / Nyarlathotep 2012! Really!

  • @Ghorghinahn

Sorry it's really hard to tell the difference here sometimes.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner Wow dude if you really believe the earth is 6,000 years old you need to rethink you're life over. you can even find the proof your self if you do the research.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner

The bible has no crediblity because the earth was created 8,245 years ago by Zeus. If go to the medicine man in Greece he will give you a special tea that will allow you to see him standing on mount olympus.

  • @TheCaliCapitalist DAMN !!! And I thought it was Mr. Clean or the flying spaghetti monster... LOL

  • @TheCaliCapitalist your wrong! scientologists prophesised that our alien souls have religions projected into us before we got transferred into caveman bodies!

    all hail xenu!

  • @TheCaliCapitalist THE BIBLE IS NOT A LITERAL PIECE OF SCIENCE, DAMIT!, religious zealots and anti-religionists have it all wrong, it is an alogeorical system that tries to convey moral truths

  • @QuantumProphet

The bible claims to be a literal piece of science.

  • @TheCaliCapitalist NO. you are not being truthful/ The chirstiaan fundamentalists claim the bible to be a literal piece of science. Nowhere in the bible it is stated that it is literal. Church charters however claim it to be so.

If you read Maimonides (A Jewish Scholar). On his guide to the perplexed he says that the bible is not to be taken litterally. Before you atack me, I am not a Jew, and I am not xtian. I am Carl Jung-ian :)

  • @TheCaliCapitalist That's called hallucinating. In other words, that tea is a hallucinogen.

  • @TheCaliCapitalist I believe you are wrong sir. Odin creates the world so please, don't be ridiculous...

  • @fablan6 created*

  • Arizona is one fucked up state....the people suck and so do their elected officials.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner I went to Massachusetts in 2007, and there are no Pilgrims left. Well there are, but not the ones depicted in a school Thanksgiving play with belt buckles on their top-hats. Clearly, it's because Plymouth Rock was wiped out by god's wrath.

No, dipshit, it's called society changing the way each generation of people lives their lives.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner so because somebody uses real places it must be true, that is the stupitest fucking thing i ever heard

  • Sylvia Allen the Sumerians would like a word with you. Seems they had already developed writing, irrigation, agriculture, cities, the wheel, an extensive trade network, and perhaps most importantly beer--before your god claims he created the Earth. Frankly they feel they deserve a little recognition.

  • @orion1anon "before your god claims he created the Earth." Pffft, let's not forget that God hid the dinosaurs from us so we could dig them up later and have to shoehorn it into Bible teachings.....no wait... maybe dinosaurs & humans existed at the same time....huh, pretty clever eh ? I'll bet I'd make a great Preacher....nah, I'd feel bad about scaring little kids with the threat of eternal torture in hell...nevermind. ;)

  • @orion1anon lol - just one problem, she would have noooooooooo idea who the Sumerians were

  • @orion1anon They also had pretty advance astronomy they mapped out the solar system including pluto thousands of years before we did.

  • @orion1anon Oh, you know, the sumerian civilization was planted by the devil to test your faith.

  • 6000 years, let's put that in a human perspective, 200 30-year generations. If you live to 60 you will have been on the earth for 1% of it's existence so far...creationists astound me.

Freeze me for 2 million years and upon thawing out I'll show them that life evolved and didn't pop into being magically. They won't be able to deny it, they'll be the fucking evidence!

Actually, you'll have to freeze a creationist with me, all the others will have died out by then.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner LMAO! another idiot who thinks the world is flat.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner

    You poor clown :)

  • lol 6000 years?!?!?!?! what a stupid bitch.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner Zeitgeist ? Are you serious? No, I wasn't referring to zeitgeist. I have done some extensive research on this topic, and it has nothing to do with a cheesey video here on Youtube, and if you do YOUR own research, you would learn what I have learned. How does the proof of Jesus' baptized location have anything to do with the validity of the bible? Basically the bible is nothing more than a history book of stories, some true some not. Doesn't make it the book of all books.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner "thats just common sense man" Really? Ok, let use some common sense. If the Ancient civilizations basically worshiped the SUN, MOON, planets in Orion's belt, (just to name a few) and then the bible takes stories from these Ancient people, then how can the bible have any credibility to it? Continued>>>>

  • @IndieGameDevCorner You said "Scientists are lying on purpose about the earths age" What ? What do the scientist have to gain by lying about the Earths age? And Yes, there are many ruins from Ancient Civilizations that are older than 6000 years old. Do some research, and you will find the truth.

  • The dendrochronological (tree ring) record goes back at least 9,000 years.

  • We have a fossil record, among other things, that shows the Earth is waaaay older than 6,000 years.

  • @IndieGameDevCorner "There would by waaaaaay more facts and ruins". What is this assertion based off of?

  • More like 4.5 billion years.

  • fail of a woman
