I could not even watch this video because I was so sad at how overweight these dogs are and how neglected they are. Sure it's a nice house etc. But especially the fact that they are huskies! Ok ok ok people, calm your tits. Yes, these two guys are overweight. That is not all fur, huskies are fluffy but not that fluffy. Yes, the husky breed is generally slimmer due to their life as sled and working dogs. No, these dogs are not unhappy or neglected or mistreated. No, the owners are not assholes.

They could use some more exercise but most non-working dogs are overweight and these guys are a hell of a lot healthier than most pets. Be honest with yourselves; we could ALL use more walks.

to assess a dogs weight you feel the ribs. Make a fist, the ribs should feel like your fingers, if they feel like your knuckles your dog is underweight, if they feel like the back of your hand (or are undetectable) your dog is overweight. I think your dog is obese because his/her ribs roll over his/her shoulders, but the vet can clear it up easily.

Those dogs are fat and un healthy. I am on my third siberian husky right now. The female was a little fat and overweight she ended up having hip problems and had to put her down. Put your dogs on a diet and stop feeding them scraps, keep them out of the garbage ect.

They definetly need some exercise and a good grooming. My husky was 90 lbs when I first adopted her now she's down to 75 and the vet said that's a good area to be at because she's much broader shouldered than most husky's. Good food is paramount not the crap you get that's full of filler at the supermarket.
