  • My touch screen stopped working, everything else worked fine, so I bought a new digitizer online and followed your guide. The touch screen still does not work. Any Idea's on what else it could be?

  • @GeekyBoganGamer It could be a faulty new digitizer as a few people have had this, but try updating or re flashing the firmware first. If another digitizer doesn't work then it might be the end of its life :-(

  • @LE55ONS Yeah Im going to get in touch with the supplier. Its the first touch digitizer Ive replaced, Ive done hundreds of screens but this is all new. The buttons on the side all did not work before I replaced the digitizer either but worked once I replaced it. So once I did the replacement I was able to do the 3 finger hard reset which should have flashed the firmware. Still nothing.... Ive only had this for 6 months too.

  • Thank you !!! You're the MASTER !

  • This video is really awesome and very helpful,,, Its easier to repair our phones ourselves rather than shell out huge bucks in the service centers!!!

    Hats off to you man!!!!!

  • where can i buy those nokia toolkit ??

  • @kangara09 search Google for 'torx screwdriver' and click the 'Shopping' link on the left

  • Hey man I need help ... I used your video as reference to get to the motherboard and see why my usb doesn't work , after i put it back together it worked for a while (failed to fix the usb ofc) until battery ran out . Now it doesn't want to charge in any way and I have no way to turn it back on .

  • @al3x277 Sounds like you might need to re-flow the solder joints on the micro usb socket. You'll need a very fine soldering iron and a steady hand. Try taking the motherboard to a local repair shop, I'm sure they wouldn't charge much to solder it for you....

  • thanks 4 da vid

  • Great vid as usual!!!

  • Thank you very much, i broke my digitizer today, (the lcd, and the whole phone work just fine). I'll order a replacement from ebay and put your guide to action.

  • @Tensai06 Did you fix your phone OK?

  • @LE55ONS today the replacement finally arrived and i managed to replace it with very little trouble.

    A couple of notes

    1) i suggest the metal frame be put it before the buttons, as i managed to break one of tiny black stands

    2) you didn't mention moving the proximity sensor. VERY VERY easy to do, but if you do not notice it immediatly you might end up throwing it away.

    3) i do not know how you connected the digitizer cables so easy, must have taken me 15 mins.

    Thank you again. Excellent guide

  • Thanks man!!!

  • At last I did it..!!

As I had written you earlier, my touch screen digitizer was damaged. I arranged a new one and following your video, replaced it successfully !!!. I have never opened even a simplest mobile in my life. Now I have disassembled and replaced a faulty touch screen on Nokia C6 !!. All credits goes to you. I have saved money and above all I am sure that my phone is intact.

I thank you sincerely from my heart. Geat help... Thanks once again. May God bless you...

  • @karnna I'm pleased to hear it worked out so well, now you can tell everyone you did it yourself...
