  • This could be longer. It is good, but roland deserves more.

  • I've recently been reading the series. I think your music here fits the Dark Tower series perfectly dead center. I hope this becomes a good movie series and I hope that this music becomes the soundtrack to it...

  • I can't tell how much I liked all the songs You composed! Thankee-sai.

  • totally dark song, awsome job, I don't know the story; but I get an idea of the emotions that are in it. Kick ass job. Jeff H. (Metagideon)

  • I'm deep into Wolves of the Calla, and I really hope they make a series of movies based on the Dark Tower, they are trippy as fuck and extremely well written

  • @Saffiros You say true, I say thankya.

  • @Saffiros They're making three movies, and a TV series. Each season of the show will bridge the movies. 2013 is when it all starts, not sure if it's a movie or TV season first but I'm fucking stoked either way. Google some info on it. The guy that's supposed to play Roland definitely can look the part with a little grime, and the first movie and TV season are being directed by Howard (which is probably good). Only been reading the series for about a week, but I've fallen in love with it.

  • @Saffiros I read something a few months ago that said they are going to make a movie series for the dark tower, and it will have a different director than most of stephen king's movies so it will hopefully be a really good series that can live up to the books

  • @Saffiros I would hope they wouldn't. They always mess it up (except on The Shining 2005)

  • @Saffiros Ron Howard has signed on to direct the movies and series. from what i've read it's been pushed but a lil but there will be 3 movies and 3 or 4 seasons of the Dark Tower. All coinciding with one another so Gunslinger movie, then drawing of the 3 series and so on.

  • Wow this is awesome.

  • gonna be disappointed if the upcoming movie's and tv series doesn't use one of your songs. ^_-

  • This should be in the upcoming movie. But with proper instrument and recording :)

  • Simple, yet amazing! Best song dedicated to 'The Gunslinger,' I've found so far!

  • This is a little behind the curve, but I had hoped Daniel Craig would be RD,alas he's in the new cowboy/space movie...

  • 2 people will never find the Dark Tower.

  • Did you make this music yourself? It's fantastic

  • I must ask, Where can I get your album?

If it resembles this in even the slightest way I must hear it!

  • This song is such an atmospheric work of art.

It expresses the atmosphere of the books really well!

  • Very well done.

  • Very well done. Did you use some sort of music comp. software for this?

  • like you, i find my inspiration from this seris of books. maybe nezt time, add a little something sinister with some pictures of the man in black. perfect music for the first volume though, perfect. heavier next time, come on

  • This 4 themetune to the film

  • OMFG This was so amazing, gave me pimples all over,I am reading the dark tower at the moment, this music is just gonna play in my head over and over just like the drums did haha, love it :D

  • @Technobanana Thanks very much, I'm glad the music fits your vision of the Dark Tower.

  • @Technobanana wait, THIS gave you pimples? I'd hate to see what'd happen to you in Thunderclap

  • its being made into a trilogy and a tv series ..I can't wait to finally see this masterpiece on film lets hope they do this epic story some justice and tell it how it is.

I have to say the same as everyone else about the music it's superb it creates an atmosphere that anyone who has read the book can relate to .thanks dude

  • This music conjures up the feelings of determination, but also feelings of sadness. Almost reflecting on all the search for the Dark Tower has cost Roland.

  • @WhiskiWolf Thank you very much. Those are the very aspects of Roland I wished to express with this track.

  • Very very very very good music, it remembers Ennio Morricone's music for A few more dollars

This is a very nice work, i hope you will continue with this musics...

  • @Th3S1nfry Thanks very much. I will be recording new Dark Tower music soon.

  • Nice video. The music is a good touch. I could already see the story come to life through that music. Very sweet.

  • @Legba85 Thankee sai

  • @BggProductions Long days and pleasant nights to you, sai.

  • Deja que los rumores y la leyenda te precedan. Hay quienes llevan ambas. Tontos, quizás. Con el tiempo, las palabras podrían incluso hechizar a un hechicero.

  • exelent comic, good video!!

  • @morfeosigloxl Thanks!

  • Beautiful, I mean, your music is beautiful. Just a question of marketing to get yourself to live on your talent, if you don't do music for a living already.

  • @DerMenard Thankee sai. I've never made any money from music (yet!), always thought my music was unmarketable, but I'm working on a new project now that I think has the potential to be popular. See my latest video for a taste of things to come. Thanks.

  • no mato con la pistola mato con el corazon...

aquel que mata con la pistola ha olvidado el rostro de su padre!

  • @rickjamon Thankee sai. días largos y noches agradables

  • Hey. If I were directing the Dark Tower movie, I'd give you the job. It be amazing to hear this performed with an orchestra.

  • If they do make a film version of this story, I would at least hope they consider Jackie Earl Haley for the role of Roland Deschain.

He'd be my first choice. "The tower junkie's" not exactly Rorschach-material but not a bad catch either.

  • I don't know if this is true or not but there's a rumor that director Ron Howard is attached to a movie adaptation that sounded an awful lot like Roland's story through at least the first 3 novels....

though, from what I've seen in both the novels and their comic book dopplegangers, I'm not too sure how I feel about watching children play roles like Jake or Susan Delgado.

  • This fits The Gunslinger so perfectly. You have aimed with your mind my friend, and you have not forgotten the face of your father.

  • @MorbidGuardian Thankee sai. I've recently finished volume 2 of my DT music project. It's much better than volume 1, if I do say so. It's on Lastfm if you'd like to listen to it.

    Thankee.

  • danke Sai ...und vergesst nicht die Gesichter eurer Väter !

  • Thankee sai

  • I love these books, but I just finished the last one and I HATED the ending. But then again after thinking it over for a few days I have began to think it was the best ending possible for them. DAMN YOU STEPHEN KING!!!!

  • @swedishgorilla1

Yeah it was the best fucking ending...there is no other way how the story can end

Ka is a wheel, nothing more...

  • Ka is a wheel...

    So true...

  • Wow! This music made me cry! *lol*

You definitely haven't forgot the face of your father!

  • Thankee sai

  • long days and pleasant nights!

  • May you have twice the number sai

  • very good, is this made with a software or instruments. (the music)

  • Everything except the guitars is made on a computer. Thanks for listening.

  • Oh my God but this is just excellent. Dm the perfect key for it too... this guy is doing what I only wish I could do or have time to do... Stephen King, look this way!

  • Thankee sai!

  • This music is too jolly and buoyant and upbeat to be the music behind "The Dark Tower" series.

  • lol Jolly?!?! Try taking the cotton out of your ears and listen to it again.

  • Well it sure is funny how everyone else understands it but you. I guess everyone is wrong and you're right, eh?

I see you're a student of music. You might want to try harder and actually learn something about music, Ka-mai... And books too, if you think DT is depressing!

  • Do you have a few screws loose? Or do you just not know how to read? Because those books are definitely upsetting, and I can name many different examples.

  • Kid, I have plenty of loose screws. And I do know how to read, I've been reading your bullshit all day.

  • yeah he does...Me too! lol I sugest you loosen yours abit, open your mind and heart and listen to the music.....If you think this is upbeat and jolly, Check out FT's Song the Camala.....According to your assesment of this song the Camala is on laughing gass and extacy Haha!

  • lol

  • Ka-mai! Haha!

  • Im sorry but this is far from jolly, apart from Fingers T ( Bgg Productions, creator of this ) I doubt there is anyone more intimate with the music he makes than me....And Yes I can read and have read DT in all its glory and I can tell you this music is the musical soul of the dark tower books.....

  • Nineteenth comment!

  • Omg! Im goin todash! lol

  • LOL I still can't get over that kid... "Jolly" LMAO!

  • there is a spirit in this song, something with true talent sewed into the very fabric this melody. It stands out as an original amongst other copies of music. you are out of many, one.

  • Thank you very much!

  • I enjoy Listening to the Book when i cant read it Sometimes I play Wolves of the Calla Over and OVer but i like Wizards and Glass the Best it really set the tale into play I even went as far as to Get the Diffrent Artists renderings in the Prints.. Seee the great Turtle in all his Girth

  • this is gorgeous music and you have more talent than even you know. this is quite the professional track. two thumbs up and a snap!

  • Thanks very much!

  • Really nice song.

  • Thankee Sai

  • Fascinating stuff - nice one!

  • Thankee sai

  • Our production company has already spoke with Stephen King's publicist regarding bringing this Trilogy to film. Stephen has no desire to see this as a movie as it would detract from the story. His opinion is that much of the story's appeal is that the reader must imagine the images in his/her mind and a film would remove that element thus ruining the story. We had already pursued this as a project seven years ago and that was his response.

  • Long days and pleasant nights to ye.

  • May you have twice the number.

    Thanks for listening.

  • That's fine music, say thankya. At first I wasn't so sure about the harpsichord but I think it actually evokes Roland's noble heritage. May your days be long upon the earth.

  • That's exactly what I was going for. I love it when people understand my music! Thankee sai, may you have twice the number.

  • Thankya big big!

  • This is work of Darek Kocurek, well done

  • Yep, Darek designed the sleeve for my CD. His work is amazing.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Beautifully done, it truly deserves a five! Neat work!

  • Thankee sai

  • No problem.
