  • I think I recognized a C4U cube by the sound alone! Man... :)

2:30 - if there's a white on top I just do a T until in front AND above a non-white (in l or r position) at the bottom and do an Lrev or R to put it in the top row on the back. Much easier and faster (for me).

  • omg I hate when people r like oh do this and show u like super fast...i mean DAMN!

  • hehe starcraft music.. :D

  • watch badmephisto's video on F2L

  • GAWD this is so helpful

  • Ummmmm I'm starting to understand it but when I get get 3 corners and only have 1 left and I pair up those two colors...when I try to put it in,it bumps the another corner out.....can you help me? what am I doing wrong!? O.o

  • @OrionLong you need to flip the corner your hiding in such a way that rotating puts one of your f2l pairs moves to the bottom. if you stil dont get it, search "badmephisto" he's got an exceltnt explenation of the friedrich method

  • My PB is 17.95 with the Fridrich method

  • This is how I learned. You're way of teaching has worked wonders for me.

  • starcraft ^^

  • @SERGIYAN i regonized that the very millisecond it began...i have no life XD

  • I think this is a very good video, but is not for beginers, that`s all :)

Im solving it in 30 secs and i understand everithing you`re doing.

  • love the sarcraft victory song intro...

  • @nevixFTW lol yeah

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks!! I always get stuck on f2l, so I would do reverse keyhole.

    thank u!

  • of course theres no algo needed because your just solving the cube do you call your video a method do you even know what method means your just a waste of time

  • I have solved the rubiks cube in 48 seconds, i know my way around a cube dude, and what that video was up there was alot of nothin, if u posted this to help people, u might wanna consider slowing yourself down so atleast people can detect the moves and right down the algorithm...sorry but that vid was a big waste of time...JUST SLOW DOWN!!!

  • i think that you should be able to follow this video then

cuz my best time is 2:25, and i can follow this video

also, he has a link in the side bar for a better video

  • wow I wish he could communicate his genius to us normal people

  • not helpful

  • like seriously, i can figure you're a world champ btw.

    sooooo fast dude.

    it was great help tho.

it just ridiculously fast thats all.

  • no algorithms my ass T_T This fixing has algorithms. I used these algorithms before dude...

  • This is not good instruction.

  • no algorithms my ass

  • U r a pussio!

  • do it faster you do it very slow are from flash family the superheroe????

  • Great video...just sloooow it down a bit. Keep up the good work.

  • thats to fast for me! you are killing me! lol!!!

  • are talking to yourself?

  • I do this in the same way with lars petrus method.

  • Woot starcraft ftw!God I loved playing that game! Specially playing the zerg tehe.. ;3

OMG I WANNA PLAY NOW O_O!!

Where did you get the intro anyways?

    Me wants it =/

  • thanks :P

  • thanks man this really helped me out i used the dan brown method n i knew how to do this method before n when i watched it on utube a dildo didn't know how to explain crap now my record for the rubrik's cube is 1 minute n 32seconds! thanks

  • I don't think you should be happy about a 1:32...lol

  • i know i've been practicing n now i got my time down to 42 seconds how can i get faster

  • lol im happy with a 1:17 cuz at least i can finish it.

  • You should definatly be happy with any amount of time it takes to solve the cube as long as you are getting faster and trying to figure out how to become faster... no one picks up a cube and gets sub 20's just like that it takes alot of work and you should be proud of any improvement even if its only 5 seconds... so congrats and cube on

  • this is hard as tits!

    and it's hard.

  • not once you get used to looking for the right things,

    i went down from 50 - 25 seconds

  • same here

  • Bazzeg

  • wtf? this suked asss! id rather use algoritms

  • useless tit - mfg man! i can do this... then just place it like that...... for fuck sake. you make NO sense!!

  • you have to improve your explanation skills >.>

i also practicing the CFOP system (fridrichs method) but you have to explain "more" for the beginners.

    you solvs it too fast...

btw: there ARE algorithms (about 22 i think!)

    advanced solvers should understand it.

    4 stars :P

  • Neither this video or the one linked in the description were helpful...

  • its a smart way bt cud u slow it dwn a bit so u can folow wat ur doin please?

  • Dont ever make a tutorial again..."You do this, then you do that and this gos to that and over there"...Fucking worst tutorial ever made, dont make another, you are not any help to anyone trying to learn this method...

  • When you think, you usually use logic thoughts. So actually that's an algorithm too.

  • wow fucking worst ever!

  • this sucked ass balls, your just like "ok, and thats how you do it" no explanation.

  • Read what he writes. this is based on you being able to think and predict. NO algorithms.

  • You didn't really explain ANYTHING.

  • Good tutorial.

  • holy shit slow down dude

  • I dont use any alogrithms either!

  • YO SLOW THE FUCK DOWN DUDE

  • lmao nice star craft ill own in zc! x]

  • can you make a oll and pll video pls

  • lol ur names Halo3nigaclan... u have room to talk...

  • yea thats a little bit true. they are splitting the single player campaigns into 3 games. but the multiplayer won't be affected. if i remember correctly, 1st cd-terran with a little protoss, 2nd cd-zerg, 3rd cd-protoss.

  • I know how to solve the cube but watching this is making me trip balls. I mean Im so used to solving it one way that I dont understand anything else. It would be nice if you slowed down and mabe used pics or something!

  • next time make use slow motion mode

  • it's hard to look.=|

  • pogobats is for people who have never solved the cube this is for people with sime knowledge of the cube

  • yes it is but it is much slower :S

  • My god I'm getting headaches from all these moves....I'm gonna lie down a bit a continue soon....

  • same as daringplayer XD

  • I may seem like a noob but, what's PLL and OLL?

  • i dunno either, and i can solve 3x3s

  • they are the two steps for solving the third layer

  • Permutation of Last Layer

    Orientation of Last Layer

  • does any one know any good vids that show you how to do the last layer? not the beginner way but the speed cubing way

  • i use bob burton. his OLL and Pll work well. ;)

  • intro song is starcraft lol

  • me..im not using f2l..i dont know..but my average is 32..using normal method and pll at last.. ^^

  • who understand this?

  • i do. =) i thought is was easier than memorizing all the algorithms.

  • um i do know how to do a rubiks cube. my avg is 48 se.counds and i just dont understand cuz i didnt use the letters and stuuff to solve it

  • im trying to learn this way. but i never learned the way with all the letters representing sides. F2L? can someone clarify what that means plzz. im guessing its front side twice left side up? the guy in vid does it to fast for me to see what hes doing thanks..

  • If you don't know how to solve the cube yet, you probably shouldn't use this video. F2L stands for first two layers, as in after the F2L, the first two layers of the cube are solved.

  • yea you have to memorise but the name of the vid says no algorithms needed

  • now i just have to memorize all the algrithms... =|

  • in the URL that you gave in the description, what is the (M'U'...) and all of those things? what do they mean and how do i move the cube

  • hey ummm...what is the fastest method?

  • some say:fridrich, roux or god's algorithm

  • Hey, you can speak your opinion, but don't be a douche bag!

  • im sorry i dont know what got in to me, but still its a crappy guide

  • Please read the description. I have made another guide that makes this one obsolete. It is significantly better than this one.

  • Thanks for the other video. I think the other one is better for newer people.

  • Larsson909, was that really nessisary?

  • How about making it quiet comprehensive for beginners? You know.. making it a little bit slower.. ^_^

  • You should learn the Layer by Layer method first then.

  • ThTS GREAT helped me alot

    <<< hates learning algorithms

  • Neat! But I think this may be confusing for newbies. I understood it because I experimented with this awhile ago but didn't get very far. But I had to watch something you did about 3 times to get what you were doing. I think the movie could use some figures & editing too.

But thank you so much for uploading this! I'll be able to solve this so fast when I get fully used to it!

I noticed that you solved the top layer very fast. Can you point me to a tutorial about it?

  • is he using a competition level cube? My rubik's cube jams. Every rubiks cube I've ever owned jams

  • I have an officail rubiks cube made from rubiks cube, and it is shit, your cube slides great, where can I get oen like it? Or is yours just covered is vaseline

    ?

  • you lube it, thats how it gets smooth i put vaseline in mine and it works great

  • intuitive f2l is faster

  • is keyhole f2l faster than regular, or intuitive f2l?

  • Intuitive F2L is significantly faster (all the way down to 8 seconds).

  • or you can just take it apart =D

  • how come the opening is starcraft from when you win/lose/draw a match?

  • cause starcraft wons your facez n00b.

  • you spelled owns, face, and noob wrong.

  • Well, first off all I purposefully put wons, facez, and n00b. Why? Well, they were popular terms on starcraft. Yes, wons, not owns. It is my legal right to express myself through any form of documentation whether or not you care, so do some research before you criticize my work. While I'm at it, you forgot to capitalize the y in you. By the way, me wons yur facez n00bs, so gtfo, ther me drops nub.

  • I dont play online starcraft. To bad.

    G33k

  • Ah, you're missing out on so much.

  • Starcraft online is amazing. The custom maps and hacked maps are the best time I've ever had playing an RTS.

  • id rather put a big big sticker on the cube thats how i finish mines

  • could you show it a litle bit faster please. that was to slow for me ;)

  • This is actualy a really good video if you can solve the cube fast with the beginners method and if you know how the cube works.

  • starcraft theme!!!

  • Starcraft owns

  • What if you couldnt because the corners has no partners. so u couldnt do your thing??

  • yea watch this video over and over. it will help trust me.

    its how i learned

  • Pls watch my video response.

  • omg, starcraft song!!

  • this is all just common sense

  • this didn't teach me anything, I saw this as, you basically showing me that you can do it... congrats

this didn't help... and no videos on youtube help

  • pogobats videos help check dem out

  • He doesn't even have a video on this you stupid dumb fuck!

  • um his most populur video is on how to solvle rubix cube and i wasnt takin to u

  • he doesn't use this method this is more advanced so you can solve faster so SHUT THE FUCK UP RETARD

  • wat u just said has nothing to do with my comment ovisly he dosnt use this method but if u listen to ur self this is more adnvaned so i was oviosly talkin to a begginer friken retard

  • ur retard cuz i replyied to hrdroden not u and if u read his comment he is saying no videos on youtube can teach and i said pogobats videos help so u shut the fucke up u retard

  • i agree..

he only showed that he can do it fast..

watch pogobat's beginner's method and learn how to teach more effectively..

  • I couldn't get the one at 1:45. It was a little fast.

  • that "L" trick for the last layer helped me a lot. Thx

  • haha funny

this video has helped me alot

    so

    ya'll can all stfu

  • i think he's not trying to teach... i think he's just showing up his skills..

  • a little slower....

  • how many time do you practise to move the cube like that xd

what product use to lubricate the cube???

  • wow this sucks!

  • Wow, you know, your videos are awesome! Oh, wait you don't have any videos. You just sit there rotting in your dark house just waiting for your obesity to finally take its toll on you heart and kill you. But, in the mean time, you just judge everyone else's videos as though you are the 'God of youtube.' You sir, make me sick.

  • lol STARCRAFT SONG!!!

  • u r terrible at explaining

  • What's the song at the start? It sounds so familiar

  • Hey man...that actually helped me to understand the whole thing...I think that you just need some practice to UNDERSTAND THE CUBE a little more...great video

  • this doesnt really help, try to explain stuff better and start from the scattered cube- to the all colored cube.

  • Your info is a lie. You clearly use an algorithm at around 1:25

  • lol. He just put the corner n edge pieses at correct place to show "what should you do if YOU have that case"

so he just places korner and edge pieses at correct placelolololol

  • lol he says "no algorithms NEEDED" which means YOU don't have to learn an algorithm... he was just showing a case as the last person said

  • No, if you have ever done the layer by layer method, you would obviously see that he used an algorithm to put the corner and edge pieces at the correct place. Therefore, if you had no experience with the rubik's cube, you wouldn't be able to do this. Also, that means that he could not have done it intuitively

  • People call this method an "advanced" method for a reason you know.. A beginner's not going to understand this as well as somebody who knows how to solve a cube

  • Everything you do with a cube is an algorithm wether you are aware of it or not.

  • Everything you do with a cube is an algorithm wether you are aware of it or not.

  • Great Cubik player, no future in teaching at all

  • lol

  • You're right, I was using the time simply as some sort of benchmark. In all honesty it depends on the person and the way that person thinks. However, I still stick with my original suggestion: don't attempt learning fridrich until you're under 1:15. Before that, I incredibly doubt you're quite ready to learn it.

  • great video, i think these people who want it slower just aren't ready for fridrich yet... you shouldn't learn this method until you're already able to regularly break 1:15 with the beginner method.

  • i dun agree with u... my bro can do lbl in 58 sec but when he learn fridrich, he find it hard to learn... its doesnt reli mean tat if u can do in 1.15 lbl u sure understand.. it depends on hw familiar u re with the cube like knowin hw each pieces move into position

  • I started doing the fridrich method, but decided to learn a few oll/pll algorithms first because those were easier (you didn't have to memorize all the algs at once for them to be useful).

The thing with the fridrich method is that it'll slow you down at first because of the time it takes to find a corner-edge pair, but after a while it will significantly improve your time.

  • i can't tell what you do if the white is on top. you moved the cube and mumbled something about moving the corner. slow it down

  • wut did u lube ur cube with

  • i like the way he turn the cube but i have a little difficulty listening to him and he is kinda soft till now i cannot understand....

  • Oh Jeez. How do you put up with all these lame critical comments. This is the best F2L video I've found on the Fridrich method. You have the smoothest moves to imitate, and the clearest explanations. And I'm still over 2 mins on a solve. Period.

  • Try to keep the cube in camera sight.........

  • you don't know how to explain

    learn to talk!!!!!

  • i have been practicing my f2l for 4 months and i nv improve... keep doin 30sec plus TT

  • hi i know ur a girl may i know ur no. im norman sy 20 from philippines...

anyway to the maker of this video ur tutorial is good but but and but dont you even notice that ur movement of rubiks is so fast for tutorial aspect..dont you..hope u do it slow next time

  • thanks this helped.... kind of

  • can u make a video showin us hw to put the cube into position so that we can put/ join the edge and corner pieces into the correct slot quicker tis video tat u made onli show us wad position the cube muz be in, in order to join the edge and corner pieces tgt..

eg the cube re tgt but not properly join so hw do u seperate and put them tgt correctly in a quiker way

  • can you plz slow your rotation plz...

  • I kept on repeating this video over 60 times and NOW i undestand the fridrich method its pretty simple once you get used to it and you wont even need to look at the cube sometimes :p

  • know what? screw this... it's too confusing..

  • this F2L method dont have a differences in dan browns method but the didi ko ay hindi malaki ka su pag kinantot mo ako ay hindi kana ttigil pahhhhhhh__??????FUCK U BITH

  • what did you use to lubricate your cube. i used silicon the crc heavy duty stuff. cuz ur cube sounds so clean, and it moves so smoothly. Please respond to this

  • i used hair gel to lube mine xd

    it worked

  • well i can get the first 2x2 spot... but once i do that i can't get the others.... ......

  • i can't figure out how to get the first step.... like the... idk how to explain... something like the 2x2 in every spot with white being the first solid color first... idk.. someone reply plz.. i'm very confused and i wanna be faster at this..

  • to andrew yang...

brfore you do the 2x2 step make a cross first and place it under the bottom surface and start fixing or twisting the cube in top overview..and you can do it in normal way!!!

  • booooooring

  • I WILL GET THIS GAHH!! and when i do i will subscribe!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • ur vid is sooo helpdul thankyou im so subscriing to you

  • wue.. very nice very nice.. it help a llot by watching ur video over and over again coz ur video is so clear, 5 star!!!hehehe by the way ive watch some video that they do they can solve the whole thing by just oll.. hope you could do videos like that.. as many as u can.heheh thanks

  • my f2l vr slow.. i cant seem to solve f2l in 20sec.. i did it in abt 35sec haiz im slowTT

  • Guys first learn the begginers method! and then this method, gosh!!!!!
