Beautiful documentary which I remember watching on NBC back in 1953 with my Dad over 4 weekends. In this episode my Dad is standing in the front row about 1:20 into the tape. The Admiral was "reviewing the boys" as he said. He was based at Camp Ingram near Recife and flew PBY's looking for U-Boats. They did knock one out, sank it and picked up German prisoners and flew them back to base. He was very proud of that moment during his service in WW II.
Looks like that B-24 on Ascension Island is doing a touch & go?
