Whenever I buy a game, it's never for the multiplayer. Mainly because of the trolls and other Internet bullies. I wish companies like Microsoft and Valve would do a better job at making their online gaming more fun and enjoyable for their players. But they really don't seem to care anymore. :/

i was playing invasion spire once, and i picked up the sniper. all he sudden some guy starts shooting me and chasing me trying to betray me. i went to the edge of the cliff so when he beat me to team kill me the sniper rolled off the cliff. then he sends me a load of angry messages? also people seem to be all ages, though it is a bit pathetic if someone team kills you over a DMR in invasion

just shooting someone in halo 1(CE) who is on your team can mean several things,

One Stop I want to get in a viecal, two follow me and three to get some one else’s attention. ie if you team mate dies getting the flag and you want to give it back to him.

but that’s only because halo CE (PC) didn’t have a chat engine that didn't involve typing. Some players my still do this in reach I don't know though.

I have to say that I do hate the idiot players regardless of age. I have friends in the pre teen range, but they are actually down to earth surpriseingly enough. I dont like to team kill and when I do its usually because they walked onto my plasma nade that i just threw into a room -.-

I'm 15 and I'm playing Halo 3 and Halo: Reach the most of the time if I'm playing video games and I often played with douchbags who are around 12 years old. They're singing in there microphone, screaming around and if you get mad they just laugh. That's the moment where I ask myself, 4 what reason are they doing that shit? Well, on my first L4D2 vs match on Steam, I wasn't really used to the controls at one point, so my teammate (it) told me I sucked.

But then later, I got better (quickly because I play it on the 360), and he still told me everybody sucked. He was pretty good, but way too cocky.

At the end of the game, everyone was being a good sport and congratulating my team on the victory, it just said "You're all fags" and then left. Ugh, douchebags.

Although people do betray for power weapons out of arrogance - "I'm the best with it, therefore I should have it" - people also betray out of sheer envy. "That's mine, I want it, you can't have it". Usually these people end up wasting it, or dying and losing the power weapon. What gets me is that they're like spoiled children, who aren't used to sharing! EIther way, they should just get used to sharing - there are other people trying to enjoy the game besides them!
