It's a shame we didn't get to see more of some of the new starship classes built for the Wolf 359 graveyard scene. I like the Niagara class in particular, looks both fast and powerful. I also think the Cheyenne (a fast attack ship that could be the Constellation's replacement) and New Orleans (a sort of "Mini-Galaxy" that would make a good multipurpose ship) classes turned out well.

Yes the borg weapons can destroy a Dreadnought-missile, so Starfleet need to build more of them. A borg cube that's under attack by 50 or even more missiles can be destroyed.
The Federatio should build a missile like the Dreadnought-missile from Voyager. That would damage the borgcube enough to destroy it later with conventional weapons.

Kinda hard to adapt to a massive explosion of pure energy. However, convenient kamikazee attacks that destroy a cube easily would make for short episodes!
