  • wanna be big e o0o0o get that plastic bumper tony u poser

  • I used to hate Tony back in the day when he would get mad and fight with everyone when something didnt go his way. He's a cool guy now. Now Kyle busch is the sissy bitch

  • @RomeowIsFluffy tony still is a crybaby didnt u know

  • What year was this? Did classic Tony win the race? :P

  • I WANT YOU TO HIT THE PACE CAR!!!!!!! - Days of Thunder

  • Me: Hes Stuck

Tony: HELPP!!!!!!! I Cant get off

    LOL

  • He's saving fuel in the Corvette lol

  • now thats some funny shit right their.

  • rules have to ruin everything right

  • he was bored in this race he led almost every lap, no other car could even have any were nere the speed he had

  • I'd love to see that in F1, but unfortunately it's too wrapped up in red tape for anything exciting to happen.

  • Tony Stewart is COOL!

  • Haha, Smoke doin an Earnhardt.

  • Definitely seems like Tony was bored. LOL

  • i think tony stewart is the closest thing we have to dale sr.

  • That Corvette looks tiny compare with the NASCAR race car!

    Is that legal?

  • dale sr used to do the same thing to the old pace car driver he was friends with. tony picked up the tradition. just tony havin a little fun.

  • LOL!

  • he was probably trying to save fuel under a cautioin.

  • whoever that guy is can't take a joke. "NASCAR has asked tony to back off." come on, man!

  • @ACDCsuperfan91 That's Bill Weber for you.

  • the only time its acceptable to rear end a corvette lol

  • look how much bigger the car is compared to todays cars, the trucks, nationwide, and COT are small, back then the cars were huge

  • Hahaha

  • haha the paint job, tony could just buy them a brand new corvette

  • @ newmanwins12 y they call tony " smoke" for cause he use to smoke theme all the time till gibbs went to toyota

  • Tony "Smoke" Stewart brought so much butt kickin' excitment to nascar when he first showed up, when it was still fun to watch. But then, nascar stepped in and everyone drives pretty much identical cars, with restricter plates, and if you get too close or touch another drivers car......If these guys can make the car go 250 mph, with enough talent to drive it sideways around the entire track, who wouldn't stay up late to watch that? You can almost predict the outcome of every race now!ZZZZzzzzzzzz

  • @kcirrelyt yeah why cant they take the plates off and let em loose?

  • @Chargerdaytona69 The company that insures NASCAR events requires them to keep average lap speed below 200mph. That's why the topspeed at superseedways has been right at 198-202 since the early '90's. With the advances in chassis and engines, unrestricted those cars would likely hit about 240 or so at Talladega and I can't say about Daytona because of the recent track deformation in turns 3 and 4. But to summarize, it's a safety issue. Over 200mph. It's too hard to keep cars on the ground.

  • @weaverracing96 yeah if the car turned around like carl edwards did at dega with no plates, lots of fans would have been killed

  • @Chargerdaytona69 Yep. NASCAR has always had plates for many years, but in the beginning it was just to even the playing field of small blocks vs big blocks. But Bobby Allison had a crash in 1987 in which he crashed in a manner very similar to Edwards '09 crash. After that, all cars ran restrictor plates to control speed under 200 mph. For that race in 1987, Bill Elliot had qualified on pole with an average speed around Talladega of 212mph. And that was with 20 yr old technology.

  • @weaverracing96 yeah imagine how fast they would be without the plates with the cot now

  • @Chargerdaytona69 A few years ago, when the cup series got to Talladega, before the first practice. NASCAR let Rusty Wallace take his car out and get telementry on it w/o a plate. Going down the back stretch I think he got to 227 or so, and backed out because it was starting to scare him. The air was getting under the car enough that he said it felt like the car was just gonna lift into the air

  • @weaverracing96 yeah i heard about that i think its was either 2003 or 2004

  • @Chargerdaytona69 Yep, think so. If they're remodeling Daytona, however, I think they should consider raising the catch fence, and strengthening it and the wall and letting them go full throttle at 215 the entire time. I'd guess the cup cars COULD do 240 or so now, but it'd be like California or Michigan, they'd have to lift and get spread out. If they keep them at 215, it'd still be 'plate' racing.

  • @weaverracing96 yeah nascar needs a lot of remodernization at the older tracks like daytona and talladega. not what we need cars going 210+ and running as close as they do now.

  • @Chargerdaytona69 I like plate racing, it's fun to watch because it's usually never boring. I only race on short tracks, so I don't know how much I'd like having to drive in a pack like that for hours, but as a fan. It's an awesome spectacle. And also, if they let them stay around 210-215, which is about 20-25 mph faster than they run now. It'd make the races noticeably shorter with less boring 'middle parts'.

  • @weaverracing96 yeah dont get me wrong plate racing is one of the best kinds in nascar and the races would be shorter but if the big one happens, how many drivers will be taken out with less time to react when someone messes up?

  • @Chargerdaytona69 they get paid millions a year, they can deal w/ it.

  • @Chargerdaytona69 I still enjoy NASCAR, I enjoy watchign it on TV, i enjoy going to the races in person. I'm still a fan, it's why I keep watching it, and keep supporting my driver (48). I prefer tight-packed plate racing. Because without the restrictor plates, then yeah the cars could do 240 or so. But it'd turn Daytona and Talladega into California and Michigan like borefests with the field getting strung out and very minimal passing due to the speeds.

  • @weaverracing96 dont get me wrong i do too but that kind of racing we saw before the chase format isnt coming back

  • @Chargerdaytona69 The Chase format hasn't changed the competition level week to week. There has been some differences in competition, but it's unrelated to the Chase. It's just one of those things that people who don't like the chase blame any short coming on it. I think it's totally seperate and I think the competition is getting better lately, 48 has been having trouble.

  • @weaverracing96 yeah the chase hasnt affected the competition but with it came a new set of rules restricting how competitive it gets

  • pole SMOKEr

  • nothing wrong with having a little fun. jimmy jhonson would never do that.

  • first off, learn to correctly spell the name of the person you're making fun of and second, smoke cracks me up

  • @48voodoocult oh excuse me, jimmie johnson* right? ya anal prick, i wasn't even poking fun at him. i was just stating a difference in attitudes. i like jimmie too. and jeff burton and montoya.

  • @checkfoldcallraise calm the hell down. what's the need to get so up-tight and start calling people you don't even know an anal prick?

  • @48voodoocult i didnt like the tone of your first reply thats all. nothing uptight about it, but maybe i overstepped with the name calling. i take it back.

  • The best of the best enjoying the lead.

  • Tony Stewart's awesome!

  • @nosponsor97 he is go smoke

  • @nosponsor97 no hes fucking gay and a sore loser is what he is

  • Reminds me of the time Dale Sr passed the pass car...lol!

  • @Chevypower265 the pass car?wtf is that

pass.....pace?pass...dumbass redneck nascar fan i cant say i expected more ffrom one of your types.

  • @RealDeal336 A simple typing error. I'm sorry I'm not perfect and it seems your not either, because you don't even have proper Capitalization!

  • @RealDeal336 *ffrom* lol

  • @Chevypower265 u mean PACE car?

  • @Gordonx24x Yes, a simple typing error, sorry about that.

  • @Chevypower265 lol, i was just messin with u. i knew it was.

  • 2 of them 2002 and 2005

  • 2 of them, soon to be 3

  • GO Stewart.....

  • next time you have a thought, just let it go.

  • @allenrw3 Okay Ron White.

  • okay your face.

  • Aww come on guys give him a break, he's just having some fun like the guys said. NASCAR said back off and he did so IMO no harm no foul. GO Jeff Gordon LOL!!!

  • yea..lol go tony

  • Bitch Hater

  • you must a junior fan how many rings does jr have

    z

    ero

  • did he win that race?

  • Tony Rocks!!! Hope everyone saw Tony "Off the Track"!!!! Check out the videos if you haven't already.. you don't want to be the last one to see them :) and they are really cool!!! (on our page & High Quality too!!)

  • Regardless of whether he's in front of a camera bitchin about something... or making fun of another driver... or on the track doing things like this.. you cannot deny the entertainment value of Tony Stewart.

  • i was there it was my fist race it ruled!

  • Tony to NASCAR: " Yall are no fun no more"

  • ha ha

  • Lmao i love tony when hes bored

  • which is quite often in a COT race

  • since you want to get technical, it's actually "..could form a proper sentence."

  • No one is more independent and unique out there than Tony Stewart. He does what he wants, says what he wants, and acts how he feels. KB is the new Dale Earnhardt. There is only 1 Tony Stewart.

  • Kyle Busch is nothing like Dale Earnhardt. Kyle Busch is a retard that shouldn't be in a race car.

Dale Earnhardt gave his warnings to the people in front of him he would bump them 3 times and then he would bump them pretty hard and if they lost it it was their fault not his.

  • first off. Kyle Busch is nothing like Dale Sr. and 2nd Kyle has bad temper.

  • your right 100%. those tools gave you 2 thumbs down...in my humble opinion i think that stewart is far closer to earnhardt than busch will ever be.

  • I dunno, dude. Tony's been in this game for 11 years now. It's a little late for someone to be putting a veteran in his place. I think it's fair to say that Tony can do whatever he wants now.

  • Kyle Busch may not be the next Earnhardt, but since 2001, I've never seen a driver who wants to win more than Kyle and yes, that is including Tony Stewart.

  • as much as jr fans may not like it Tony Stewart is probaly the Next Dale Sr

  • kyle busch has the earnhardt purspective yes but hes the most hated driver out there (except for his brother) kyle busch is hated by all Dale earnhardt was liked by half and hated by half. Tony has the heart that dale had for the race he hated 2nd and he didnt take crap from anyone

  • Earnhardt was hated by everyone in the '80s. Give Kyle a few years and he may be the most popular driver in the sport, if not one of them.

  • I think Smoke is trying to imitate/copy his idol (Dale Sr.)

  • na man his idol is aj foyt

  • I know AJ Foyt is Tony's idol, but, trust me, Dale Sr. is also one of his idol's.

  • my dad actually bought a replica of that pace car

  • why do they call him "smoke?"

  • In his early days on dirt one could always see his car because it had a trail of smoke from a blown something. Then when he go good it was the smoke tires of a winning burn out

  • @tjexcite it wasnt anything he blew on the car it was his rear right tire and he wasnt good about slipping it through the corners so it always smoked.somewhere on youtube theres a video of someone else doing it.then when he raced in the irl he blew engines ALOT..thats where its from

  • @tjexcite don't forget his days of blowing engines and tires in Indy Cars

  • @newmanwins12 i no why lol

  • @newmanwins12 They call him smoke due to his dirttrack days.

  • @newmanwins12 because thats what he produces when he spins out all the time :)

  • @AirRaider56 that's Stewart Racist

  • At Daytona during a Dash race, i think it was Ken Schrader as he was winning it under yellow he bashed into the pace car accidentally

  • Earnhardt-Elmo reenactment.

    Good times!

  • Just like Earnhardt Sr.

  • Priceless......

  • if I bought a vette pace car that Tony scratched up I'd get him to sign below the scratch. Aint fixing it.

  • lol

  • Hell yeah! Sign me up for that auction! :D

  • lmao

  • i was here when he did this, it was at the dickies 500, nascar officals told stewart to back off, and stewart won bye like 5 secs and climbed the fence!!!

  • i really want to see tony win the daytona 500 before he retires tony is one of my alltime favorites he is overdue so bad

  • Tony just wants to have fun

  • How can u hate tony stewart? this is great tony nice man

  • tony stewart is with out a doubt the most out spoken driver i have ever seen

  • No, Dale Sr was more outspoken, but with the new Corporate set-up in NASCAR, what Dale got away with before wouldn't fly today. Dale would have gotten suspended for some of the things he used to say.

Tony is the most outspoken driver today.

  • its a good thing JV isnt in nascar..he is worse then tony and dale in the stuf he said while in formula 1

  • JV?

  • jacques villeneuve

  • Tony stewart is as close to dale earnhardt as it gets (course nobody will take the place of the no 3 rip) but ya he drives alot like him.

  • tony's the man

  • stewart is the shit Jgr bitchs

  • If you dont respect tony stewart your either blind or f**king stupid. Tony is my favorite racer but even the racers i hate (jimmie johnson and kurt busch) I respect.

  • this is why I like Tony.

  • i respect him but he gets in to alot of fights

Tony stwert would say "I'm Driving fast and starting fights!"

    lol

  • Like Dale with Elmo, Tony with Brett, the tradition continues!

  • Why didn't he just slingshot past the pace car?

Or, he could have pushed it into the pit lane, i'm sure the race would have resumed earlier.. :)

  • i think maybe u missed the TEXAS logo on the track wall lol

  • hahah i remember watching this with my cousin ! does anyone remember what track this was ?

  • This was Texas, but idk which race it was though. I think the fall 2006 one where he dominated.

  • I saw this live...it was TOO DAMNED funny!

  • he was saving gas!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And with gas prices these days, I can't really blame him!

  • I dont know why but I for some reason keep seeing a three on Tony's car in this vid and his car turns black =) miss ya Dale

  • thats cool

I saw one of the brickyard 400 cars at a car sale near our house i sware i would of bought it if i could

i belive it was the year harvick won

  • Nicee one tonyy Lmao

  • theres Tony being Tony for ya

  • anyone catch him nudge newman last night during newman's interview?? so funny!

  • stewarts trying to save some gas!!!!!!!

  • That was Wally actually but yeah it is funny.

  • lol

  • ha ha

  • gosh man drivers can't have fun anymore.Tony is the only guy who has fun these days.

  • dale did that to elmo langley at dega in 92

  • Tony stewart is the best!!!!

Ahahah trying to git the pace car to spin out

  • tony's the best

  • aw man if theres anyone i like to see to do a classic earnhardt moment it's tony

  • Wow, drivers can't have fun without NASCAR having a say? Gosh. Well, at least its not politics and hollywood driven like F1 seems to be.

  • hah! that's some funny shit right there!

  • That pace car checked up on Smoke! BS pace car!

  • he was drafting it to save 4 miles to the gallon!!! CHEATERS!!! jk lol

  • im a gordon fan but seeing tony bump the pace car is funny as hell

  • earnhardt always did it to a specific pace car driver Elmo Langley i think it was

  • This is one of the main reasons I love Stewart--on the track, he's so much the way Earnhardt was.

  • NASCAR needs to take a chill pill. Sr did this all the time.

  • Earnhardt did that same thing but was more worried about running out of fuel and wanted enough momentum to coast back to the finish line.

  • LOL that was correct. He wanted the draft and the little bit of faster sped to make it to the line.

  • I was at this awesome race! It was one of the best days of my life! For a first time race go-er, to see Smoke dominate, win, and climb the fence was just amazing!

  • BP and Bill nailed it on the Corvette that had been, shall we say, Smoked.
