  • Damn bro u smart as hell iwouldnt have thought o that

  • Very mancave of you.

  • speak ENGLISH

  • If I want a monster gaming PC, I won't buy it from Dell, I would build it my self. All Dell parts are proprietary, AND I don't like that.

  • All that money on a computer, and you use a shitty camera to film it.

  • @Moosegumps and you have no camera...ass.

  • @Moosegumps lol

  • nice rig, but ur skillz suck :P

  • 5 TB where do u keep the 5th hard drive there only 4 slots

  • @iphonepunker two are 1.5 TB and two are 1TB to total 5TB.

  • @BrolicBeast every thought of using 600gb western digital raptors

  • cool nice rig iv only got a XPS 720 but cool gave me a couple ideas on my my own rig

  • lol 1900w. In netherland that means you need to pay 40 cent each hour. That's just crazy man. But you still lag on your system. I have a real bad pc but i can play on ethausiast.

    Intel Pentium D 3.0GHz

    1 GTX470 not overclocked

    500 GB HDD

    3 GB zero channel RAM

    Normal DVD Drive

    and 550Watt PSU

I think this is already enough for high end gaming.

Maybe processor should be upgrade a bit but I play most games on high without lagging.

  • gotta love the 360

  • you wouldn't have died if you were using the keyboard and the mouse

  • @playstationRLZ so true! lol

  • how much does a standart Dell XPS 730 cost?

and wehere can I buy it?

  • kinda a wast of 5tb

if its just for games and movies and such

  • how long are your wires O_o

  • what were the game settings.? and shit beast

  • @KCchelfFU69 All on Enthusiast.

  • five...

    terrabytes...

    of storage...

    holy JESUS!

  • @ClayColes lolllll

  • standard motherboard it comes with?

  • @VictorAngelo87 x58 Chipset

  • BTW thats a sexy setup bro

  • @GameRemix Thank you kind sir!

  • lol infinite? I wish.

  • dont fuckin lie

a guy like you plays wii every damn day.

    ;)

    nice set up though

  • Sold the Wii 6 months ago. lol

  • whyd you get a dell instead of building yourself... talk about wasted money.

  • Most of the time it's the ability to finance.

  • ever heard of newegg?

  • Course "I" have. But simply by knowing that won't help the people with really bad credit. Dell has the lowest credit requirement out there. Trust me. I've had customers turn down a $500 system, to pay $100 a month for 12 months; FOR THE SAME SYSTEM! People would rather fix something for $99, than buy a new one for $100. I've seen it :-(

  • Ability to finance has nothing to do with it. I make good money, I spend good money.

  • You should try just buying the parts and building it yourself next time.

    Right now I'm using 3x 285GTX 2GB 3-way sli. core i7

But I'm already all $saved$ up for my new rig next quarter.

Dual socket 1366 Classified EVGA board with 2x core i9's. Partnered with 3x GF100's. All 3 products are coming out next quarter! :-D Maybe you can make the upgrade same time as me.

  • I must say just because you have the money, its stupid in pissing it away on 2x core i9's and 3x GF 100's, youd get a better result withan AMD Thuban 6 Core and 2x 5970's in CrossFireX.

  • @GameRemix How about looking at when the video was made. When this video was created, the 980x (Core i9) wasn't even thought of at that time. I'm sure he would do things differently had he known. Furthermore, to suggest AMD will outperform the 965x is amusing. Check cpubenchmark and look at the high-end CPUs and you'll see how AMD ranks against Intel.

  • @BrolicBeast thats my boy.. it looks really nice, with of the Dell XPS has the black side? because I dont like the silver side of the PC :S srry.. but still, i would be really happy to have a PC like that one

  • @BrolicBeast And have no money left over for retirement, your computer was the dumbest investment you ever made. Not only did you waste thousands by not building it yourself, you have 900w more than you need.

  • @feAr636 Anybody who only has $6k put away for retirement has never heard of 401k's or IRA's. My retirement will be quite comfortable.

  • agreed.. how much did he pay for it .. like $5000? lmao

  • if not more, a pc like that is very expensive, especially since its a dell, which is more expensive for some reason... A simmilar system from alienware could probably cost nearly up to 10000$

  • Yep.. thats how it is with brand-systems. It's like with clothes... ppl spend tons of cash on luxury clothes :P

  • Like I said, do your research. The following are validated in the XPS 730x - JR980 1GB PC3-8500 1067MHz 128X64 F680F 1GB PC3-8500 1067MHz 128X64 GT494 2GB PC3-8500 1067MHz 256X64 Y996D 2GB PC3-8500 1067MHz 256X64 PP403 1GB PC3-12800 1600MHz 128X64 (Vendor: QIMONDA) H345K 1GB PC3-12800 1600MHz 128X64 (Vendor: CORSAIR) N046F 2GB PC3-12800 1600MHz 128X64 Retail 2GB PC3-12800 1600MHz (8-8-8-24 1T @ 1.65v) (Vendor: CORSAIR) F891K 2GB PC3-12800 1600MHz 256X64 N852H 4GB PC3-12800 1066MHz 512X64
  • your an idiot

  • Says the douche who can't spell. Before you call someone an idiot, check your spelling and grammar.

  • shut up idiot

  • you fuckin suck at Crysis

  • Sorry mommy...I'll try to do better next time...I promise.....Ass.

  • actually it supports up to 8gig per channel

  • No, the 730x doesn't support 8gb per channel. Do your research before posting about something you know nothing about.

  • I couldn't care less what the Dell training website tells you. The latest BIOS release, 1.0.5, only supports a MAXIMUM of 12GB of ram and a triple channel kit will cost you $1200. In fact, there aren't any 8GB modules on either Newegg or Tiger. Samsung supposedly made 8GB modules, back in 2005, but I have yet to see it on the market. The 730x DOES NOT support 24GB of ram at this time and the Dell tech support line WILL NOT provide support for more than 8GB of ram.

  • This is DIRECTLY from the XPS 730x FAQ on the Dell support forum. Still think you know what you're talking about...nub?

    Memory DDR3 12GB Max

We do not have plans to add support for PC3-10600 1333MHz,PC3-14400 1800MHz, PC3-16000 2000MHz memory. You can try but we cannot guarantee functionality.

  • how did you get 4.1ghz

  • He increased the CPU multiplier and core voltage.

  • Hey, just an FYI, Dell is now offering 12gb on the 730x. That means they are offering support for 12gb of memory. However, the price of the ram is still ridiculously expensive.

  • k thanks

  • careful, your computer could overheat if you don't properly ventilate the closet

  • Yeah, there's a pretty decent gap at the bottom of the closet. Hot air escapes from under there. I thought about putting a couple fans in there to help the process, but it's not THAT hot.....i still might do it as a precaution though.

  • Why didn't you just swap the PSU out for an Ultra 1600w?

  • i like the idea of dedicated graphic card PSU's They give me flexibility in the future.

  • The 965 is a waste of money. While the 965 may have a higher multiplier, the the 920 can achieve the same clock. Very nice setup though!

  • how maney ram slots

  • The XPS 730x has 3 ram slots for triple channel memory.

  • yup, Kingston just came out with a (3x4GB)12GB tri channel RAm kit. it's toooo expensive now ($1500), but in a couple months the kit should be under 1k !!

  • The mobo in the 730x doesn't support higher than a maximum of 2gb per channel.

  • Drats

  • dude they have bios upgrades that allow changes.

  • actually it supports 4gb sticks..

  • The last time I checked, 3x4gb = 12gb, just as I stated below.

  • Yeah, i heard it does now....it's about time!!

  • All you need is some bose surround and you got the best setup you could possibly have.

  • Nah man, Bose is pure marketing. 1-inch woofers and miniscule tweeters can't hold a candle to true woofers and tweeters. Those in-ceiling speakers (which i didn't show in the video) are high-end Sonance speakers with 7 inch woofers with a 1-inch tweeter in the center. Bose can't hold a candle to them suckers.

  • Agreed. You can get a Logitech z-5500 setup and it sounds just as good, if not better, and for less money.

  • Logitech z-550 will not sound better than SONANCE Home Theater Speakers. I Promise! Check out their specs. Not to mention the 300w rattle-free Onkyo subwoofer under the desk (hidden behind the mini-stand). Logitech makes computer speakers, not dedicated theater speakers.

  • Oh, I believe you. However, we're talking about PC sound setup, not a home theater setup.

  • I have this same Computer but blue, I was thinking of going 3x sli but on this Mobo you have to take out the SB Sound card, I was wondering,How does the Sound card on the Mobo sound? I will probly wait for the Next gen Nvidia to come out before I go 3x SLi. great Idea on the Power supply!!

  • hey what kind of video cable to u use to connect from Xps 730x to a plasma TV?

i use VGA cable to connect to my lcd ...but it looks like shit......do u use HDMI to DVI?

    please help

  • yes sir!! hdmi-dvi adapter

  • Hey brah

I'm looking to get the XPS 730X H2C, you think its worth it? Did you end up getting a warranty, with that customized setup? You system sounds awfully loud. Isn't it water cooled?

    Your setup is killer man!

  • Thanks man. Yeah, it's water cooled. It only sounded loud because the camera was right there in front of the comp! The fans in the graphics cards still spin, so there's a low hum if your ear is within a foot or so of the machine. It's definitely worth it!!!!!--what specs are you considering?

The machine is covered by a 3 year warranty (standard for XPS'), the three graphics cards are all covered by BFG's standard lifetime warranty.

  • Well I'm leaning towards this setup:

    XPS 730X H2C

    Intel® Core™ i7-965 Extreme - Level 2 (Factory O/C'd to 3.73GHz, 8MB L3 Cache

    2 x 1TB - SATA-II, 3GB/S, 7200RPM, 32MB Cache

SLi, Dual nVidia GeForce GTX 285 1024MB

    6GB Tri-Channel DDR3 at 1066MHZ (3x2GB DIMM)

I usually tend to build my own systems but I love the fact there is a warranty. I like the closet you have for your set-up. I have the same kinda set-up but with a 52" plasma.

  • really? you gotta post a video of your setup man. I'm dying to see a similar setup and even to learn from it. I'm always open to peeping cool new ideas!

  • I agree with BigAussieBloke69! lol

  • Fuck me mate. 5TB's of storage. Enough for half of the worlds porn. LOL

    How much did it cost???

  • lol, it cost alot more than i planned on spending...but, that's always the situation when dealing with major purchases/upgrades. Croikie!!! (did i spell that right?)

  • LOL. I know what u mean about the price. I actually went on Dell Austrlalia and built one, costs around $8000 AUD ($7000 something US). And if your trying to say Crykey then no it's not right.

  • It was actually a bit more than that.....Dell doesn't offer 5TB of storage, or GTX 285's in Tri-SLI (Dell is still stuck on the 280'sin SLI).

  • That system rocks!!!!!! Long live Shadowcatch!

  • Ahh, thanks alot Coach...long live Scully!!!

  • so u customized this from dell when u buying it right? how much ? nice xps by the way just dont like that stupid led on it. lol

  • Nah, Dell's customization isn't that extensive. I had to purchase the three GTX 285's w/ a Tri-SLI Bridge, 4.5 TB of the total 5 TB Hard Drive Space, and the Blu Ray Drive and install them myself. A couple words of caution to anyone considering an XPS 730x--I also had to replace the PSU. The one that comes with the system can't handle a Tri-SLI setup with 3 GTX 285's. It says it's a 1000 Watt PSU, so i went with a 1200 watt PSU for the replacement.

    Also,

  • The monitor is a 50' 1080p plasma. It was the primary display in the house's home theater until i decided to upgrade the theater and create a separate media room . Thanks for subscribing--I'm extremely new to youtube! lol.

  • HOLY SHIT!

That computer could run any game!

  • LOL, yeah, it runs pretty much everything!

  • nice vid!

  • Thanks man...this is my first REAL gaming computer that i've been wanting to buy/build for a long time. The introduction of intel's core i7 was enough to push me over the edge

  • crazy pc 5*
