  • @sirgreggins8824 No way don't wreck this lol

  • I do really love slippery roads...

...in my capacity as a youtube viewer

  • @aloisbembel haha thanks for the comment.

  • If you want to know why most places outlaw steel studded tires try driving thru Washington, Oregon, or Idaho. The 3in deep grooves in the road will give you a hint. Studs only work if there is snow and ice for them too dig into. Otherwise you are only destroying the road and your tires.

  • Ha ha... if this was UK... there would have been a massive pile-up by now! We just don't know how to deal with it!

  • Where is this? I also live in Edmonton haha :)

  • If this was Texas, there would be a 20 car pile up on that pole on the right lol ;)

  • LOL you can really tell this is up north ware people know how to drive in the snow and ice. good video.

  • @thersaholycow Yup i agree. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @thersaholycow It's like in sweden, where we take out old volvos and drift in to stuff just for fun

  • @madfreakinc1 Alright man!

  • Yeah but your Cars all still smell like Pickles.

  • @buttmanroad ...?

  • @buttmanroad lol canadian cars smell like pickles? but can drive on ice.

  • @robjla1 Idk what your talking about, about the pickles.

  • In Canada they have some idiotic laws, tires with metal 'spikes' are illegal because they wear out the road and then they don't even sand/salt the roads properly... I'm not sure what retard came up with these insanely dangerous laws.

  • @KoivuTheHab I know...its not like spikes are going to hurt the road when theres 1ft of snow on the road.

  • @DieselSmoke92 Yeah tell me about it... Everyone should have these tires up north because it keeps all of us safe. This law should be tossed out as soon as possible. I'm glad I live in a country where politicians have something else than goo between their ears.

  • @KoivuTheHab mhm.

  • @KoivuTheHab who needs em? when you got 4x4

  • @TheCooper211 Do you know anything about physics? Since when did rubber have traction to ice? Just think about that for a moment. After you've imagined that in your head I'm quite sure you realize just how idiotic your comment was.

  • @KoivuTheHab hmm funny i drive on ice almost everyday, i live on a mountain.

  • @TheCooper211 where do you live at exactly? i own a house in atlantic beach, part of jacksonville, fl, and i am ready to move up north to see what the snow is like, just as soon as a i can find a good home for my hubby. lol.

  • @tti01 I live in Oregon, on Mt Hood. About the opposite side of the country lol.

  • @KoivuTheHab Tires with studs are perfectly legal in many places in Canada, it just depends on the time of the year.

  • @marmacman Which provinces are they legal in? I hear they are illegal in at least Ontario, Quebec and Alberta.

  • Dude i almost crashed last winter and i slid into a a snow drift to avoid rear-ending a car so glad i play video games my Gaming reflexes kicked in and save my insurance from going up!Then popped my trucks 4 wheel drive and i was off.

  • You're driving on the wrong side of the road mate

  • @PurpleCashew This is Canada...

  • Very good drivers... here in Brasil we don't know that... Good drivers and snow. But one day i would like to know what is this. It must be a special time... Hugs from Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brasil. :)

  • @SubsiderHD haha thanks man!

  • @SubsiderHD

    canadians sucker haha

  • bus burnout FTW

  • @tacodude20 Yeah it was awesome haha...to bad the other guy figured it out and drove to the side.

  • The guy at 0:22 is holding a beer so thats not the ice's fault :)

  • @InstantChicken Funny to think that way but its a coffee since the macs store is across where he was and it was early morning.

  • the guy at 0:25 handled it like a pro... your the boss :P

  • @XtremeRCTV Yup! thanks for the comment.

  • Traffic signs look so different like u Yield sign has middle ring as here its has word Yield spelled out in middle......i hope my words are okay to U

  • @MrLehnerd Interesting...thanks for the comment.

  • @MrLehnerd No,where I live(Windsor Ontario)for the roundabouts the yeild sign has the roundabout symbol in the middle for the roundabouts. They are made for roundabouts. The rest of them are just the red and white triangles

  • @CPWindsorsub Okay.

  • At 0:02 It should be 'were' not "we're". Canadians obviously weren't born to write good english.

  • @jackd166 All Canadians want you in jail.

  • @DieselSmoke92 LMAO what?

  • @jackd166 Just being funny lol. btw your comment was unnessisary.

  • @DieselSmoke92 yeh your right but i cant help myself

  • @jackd166 I guess its your in-security.

  • @DieselSmoke92 No i dont think so. I just find most Canadians are VERY arrogant.

  • @jackd166 Friends don't count. lol

  • @jackd166 you find canadians arrogant wanna know what the world thinks of americans...Arrogance would be a compliment

  • @WoozyPineApple Yeh i agree but Canadians just dont shut up

  • @jackd166 as arrogant american replys.......soo sad..-.-

  • @WoozyPineApple what?

  • @MichaelYaremchuk Come to Alberta, we have snow every year. Atleast 2ft-9ft average LOL.

  • @MichaelYaremchuk haha that sucks we had to much...

  • Pretty good video, eh. Glad I live in Los Angeles.

  • @lasalleman haha im glad i live here, theres lots of action.

  • They need a traffic light there

  • @murfreebear haha yeah i guess so mabe for winter only.

  • When i saw the bus i just hoped it gonna crash

  • @Techdeckhelpers haha yeah it would of added effect to the video :)

  • ROFL. damn thats pretty funny with the black ice and people slipping on it

  • @BOON3R911 I know right!

  • @DieselSmoke92 yup

  • i love black ice!!!

lol in greece we never get things like that

  • @PeleGiannisGalpe this was more of just solid ice that was visible. It was warm the other day and cold the next leading to this perfect disaster.

  • @DieselSmoke92 haha no disaster in ur country from ice

  • @PeleGiannisGalpe Yeah because it happens every day.

  • @DieselSmoke92 im so jealous :D

  • @PeleGiannisGalpe Its so normal here...i don't see it as a privalage. But if you came here you'd enjoy it but not the cold.

  • It is a tool to save our troubles. That is what the civilization is all about.

  • If this were a street where I live (Ohio) each and every car would've crashed and burned! These people here cannot drive on dry roads much less icy roads!

  • @advine84 haha yeah they would be done for.

  • @advine84 I'm in Ohio now after living in Canada for my entire life. These people are amazingly bad at driving!

  • @chicken11999933 Thats funny :)

  • Canadians were born to sand and salt roads every hour. Try none of that and your skills will be tested, son.

  • @itpduder We just had a massive snow storm...3ft. No plows, no sand trucks. People are smart and they shovel there car out before they drive. This storm did teach alot of people to use winter tires forsure.

  • @DieselSmoke92 here in Atlanta we have about an inch of ice on the roads. Some trucker from Minnesota thought he could drive on the roads and jack-knifed. He assumed the roads were taken care of. Whoops.

It's a flippin' mess. The DOT didn't sand or salt in preparation. Few state plows but a construction industry that is sitting on equipment that can do the job. . . . finally someone got on the phone and called some contractors to help. It's a friggin' mess.

  • @itpduder haha

  • this man heil at 0,23

  • Cannucks are out of salt?

  • @chicagotransam Not really. They sand the road every damn hour if it snows even if theres no more then 1" of snow.

  • where is this?

  • @mutatedrock Canada, AB

  • @mutatedrock The blue bus at 1:33 says Edmonton Transit System.

  • Thumbs up for the gliding moon-walker at 0:18 !

  • @Kauwhaka LOL!

  • do people not realise that when it's icy you're gonna skid? it's not as if it's a clear road!

  • @danebrewer10 People automaticly react and slam the brakes...

  • this video is anesthesia

  • Canadians know where its at. Seattle, not so much...

  • @100littlecurses pretty much.

  • i find when its slippery dont stop at stopsigns because you want to keep momentum..depending on where your at matters though

  • @1598MeTal1598 Don't stop unless theres a car or an officer there if super icy.

  • Looks like they put sand down. When it's that icy they should really put salt down, piss loads of salt.

  • @counterclockwise123 Fuck sand and salt...learn to drive.

  • @DieselSmoke92 On pure ice?

  • @counterclockwise123 what do you think?

  • @DieselSmoke92 I think on pure ice it's not possible to drive. You have no control.

  • @counterclockwise123 Learn how to drive and you'll be fine.

  • @DieselSmoke92 far too many ways to get a drivers license these days without having basic car control skills. seems like every time you see an icy patch people make the exact same mistake time and time again, lock up the brakes and...spin.

  • @jrfan07 Yeah but its hilarious to watch it happen you gotta admit.

  • @counterclockwise123 It depends on the temperature, if it is too cold, salt is not as effective. sand will work at any temp.

  • just a hint to people who have no Salt for their Icey front yard, Just use Sand, Sand mostly takes 70% of the slippery away... we did it at our house too and it works pretty wel!

  • @Chavesshu See the thing here...i don't want them to make traction...i enjoy watching noobs slide on the ice.

  • why do people still block their tires you have less grip when the tire slides on the road than when it continues to turn very slowly but still turning.

  • Why not put the tool on a vehicle ? Just look at the scene and you see how it works on the slippery slope.

  • @MASAIINA the tool?

  • @DieselSmoke92 i think he means the thing in the video on his channel ;)

  • @lucassandro lol?

  • I'm glad no one was hurt, but this is like watching wood warp! Utterly boring.......................

  • Icy Road, but not Super...

  • Are you kidding me felipedimorais! lol...man, you sure have bad eye sight if you're telling me this ain't too icy....

  • lol ;)

  • Hose the sand down and water the street again x-D

  • Yeah i wish lol
