There are two types of case that Currys sell one has Advent impressed into the case the other is open at one end, do not buy the open ended case the pad can slide out and fall to the floor and you end up with a problem like I have, no Advent. If you have the open ended case I would advise you take it back. Do not use it.

to fix the wifi turning off when screen powers down, you have to go into settings, wireless & networks, wifi settings, then press menu and click advanced. change the wifi sleep policy to never. this is a problem on all android devices but i find this is reason why

actualy on the stock rom that comes with the advent vega, that option isnt there. However, asever with android, theres custom roms which can enable this, but this doesnt give as good battery, i can leave my vega powered on but in standy by for about 2 weeks before the battery lasts, with the wifi always on, lasts about 3 days.

I fyou want to do a review do something that requires some power... You should have shown a ressource heavy application or a website with some flash... I don't understand why you only showed stuff that a 90$ tablet can do!

How did you get rid of the ugly shortcut bar (My Media, Facebook, Twitter) at the bottom? I have MoDaCo rom too (thank goodness), but getting rid of this bar would be the icing on the cake!

A couple of questions, can I get Google Maps before I try to hack it? Also do Skype video calls work?

Makes me think what's the point in having a camera if we can only download Skype through hacking it!

I've not yet tried any video calling apps... no one to call! lol
