you shouldn't show a beating like this on YT, it only gives the anti's ammo. not saying it wrong, that fox would not have expired any quicker if it were shot, just saying it's bad taste. @oneraindog, gray foxes are as easy to catch as raccoons, read a book on it and you will do fine. keep your chains short, use the right size trap for the target animal, learn everything you can about the animal you want, habits, size, diet ect. and use what you learn about them when making your sets. IMHO
i like trapping but i dont hit em i shoot em i feel kinda bad hitting them but if its a phyco coon or a jumpy one that nbites me i beat it on the head(finally i found a vid without anti trapping-hunting comments
I will try to do some vids. covering this this season. I am not great at this just take some good advice from a local trapper that has been in the game for a very long time.
Nice area, here are many people in every forrest, I hate that. And many forresters, they protect nature and they try to get poachers. But here are to many foxes and martens, so it is good that some one hunt on them.

Use a flat stake swivel with a extra swivel on it and keep it together with a J-hook. And you need one single rebar stake from 65 cm long.
