Would people get mad if I said I didn't care for her voice? It's amazing, yes. Amazing talent, but it shakes too much, she tries to make it sound too deep, holds those notes to really try and "wow" people... there's a pretentiousness there... something not quite real about her delivery. She's really into the bravado of her performance. She's obviously waiting for that huge applause whenever she holds a note. Cute kid, nice kid...but I don't feel as much from the heart as with other vocalists.

thank you for cmplmnting her uniq voice. Pls. rmember that she was just discoverd intern'lly only a few months ago & obviusly there are certain nuances on how she sings these songs in the Philippines where vocalists are appreciated depending on how close they can sing compared to the original. Celine started with a key which is normlly a low key for her so naturally she would adjust her voice to compensate & the result was fantastic. I wonder why Oprah & DFoster did not see her pretentiousness?
