wow sod played very good this match even tho it was 3 years ago. but the other pros have always said that robin soderling have a big highest level. but hislow level could be a top 50 player at that time. NOW he has improved his lowest level of play, he really has the game of a top 10er...dosent this video show that? great game!
Soderling really gave the king a match there, that's probably the closest he's been to winning over Federer. So props for Robin who stood up pretty good=)
I like Soderling a lot. He's in that "male Lindsay Davenport" category that I place other players like Berdych in. Of course, that's a huge compliment considering I adore Davenport.

great match, Sod played awesome but ed was an absolute beast on hard in 2006, lost only two matches

I wonder why other tournaments don't use this angle to broadcast the match, it really shows off how much pace the players put on their shots.

It just looks strange. Soderling hits pretty hard because he doesn't have the best footwork/speed to rally from the baseline for too long.
