  • I was at this lake swimming today!

  • was that a cray fish at 3:26 ? ! ?

  • Yes, every so often we see them at that depth. They like to hang out in the sunken trees I guess.

  • Nice video... I dove this about 2 years ago. I think I did a total of 3 dives there. Was pretty cool. I only went 70 feet.

  • No video of good quality from the trees, it is pretty dark and silty down there.

  • do you have any videos of the forest under the lake? i am from that area of the province and have heard lots of stories about it and would love to see just what it looks like!

  • I agree with RINGS890. Read the entire post before you go shooting your mouth off. Diefenbaker was flooded as part of the damming. It flooded a once beautiful valley and the result was a fairly deep man-made lake. If you walk on the shores some times you find bones from buffalo (not to mixed up with the cow bows that occasionally show up, and lots of projectile points.

  • Diefenbaker was flooded when the damb went online, the old river bed starts in about 150 feet. The oldest thing? The free standing forest that is still down there, it starts in 90 ft. The scariest thing in lake diefenbaker? probably the other divers ;P

  • hey is it true that diefenbaker used to be a valley that got washed up??... and what is the oddest thing and scariest thing youv witness while scubadiving?
