wow ur good..I wont lie, when i started playin this game on pc..i though it wud just be another shooter or like tf2 more or less..but boy was i wrong, its the most challenging and most fun shooter ive played on pc so far..and Ive played ALOT of em, including the fre and p2p shooters

It's a fun game.. I knew nothing about it until I bought it, but I knew it would be fun so I wasn't worried. I also got Breach, but I'll probably play this more and for longer overall. :)
Oh, and the Devs used the TF2 Engine to create this game, with very similar tool mods I would imagine, so some stuff is taken right out of TF2. If your not smart enough to know/figure that out, then you should press alt+F4 on your life's keyboard now! Just enjoy the game or leave...

Yes, I know what companies use what engine. I've been in the game for sometime now.
I use UE3 myself quite a bit and dabbled with Source. It's rare that you see someone use cell shading with UE3, plus they would likely have exported the art work and converted some texture files to work with UE3 so, I admit I assumed it was Source, being that they were cross-promoting MNC and TF2 and the textures looked the same.
@Warpmek My point is still valid considering that they still use textures and animations from Source if this is in fact UE3. Hard to eyeball some stuff on a youtube video done with cell shading. I will say the movement does seem more like UE3 than Source. My main goal here was for people to just stop trying to figure everything out and find pros and cons and just appreciate the work at hand. But, this is youtube and its a free country, what you gonna do?

I think they need to swap the shot gun for a machine gun it doesn't make much sense for a support class to have a shot gun seeing as they mainly stay behind there team mates and heal them. A shot gun seems more suited for an assassin or solider seeing as they get up close and personal.
@Nintendoman15 No it makes perfect sense. The Support can buff team mates, heal turrets, can place a powerful firebase turret and can hack turrets, the healing beam can also leech health from enemies. By giving him a shotgun it gives other players a chance to kill him and forces the support to be a bit more clever in how they play the game. A machine gun would grant mid range attacking which I think would make Support OP.
Just got this game during the Countdown to 2011 sale. I love it already! I've been getting a ridiculous amount of assists with the support class, which makes me very happy. :)
MNC isnt a a TF2 rip off, reasons being; MNC is third person TF2 is first person, MNC has a gameshow theme TF2 does not. and just because they both have a disney pixar-esc art style dosent mean their similar games. Also people say they are similar because of the classes, but then again how many other games have similar classes.

the way i see it is the support =medic+engineer, the tank= pyro+heavy, the assassin=scout+spy, the gunner =heavy+soldier, the assault=demo+soldier, and the sniper =sniper all in all it like tf2 butt still a great game and hopefully we'll see dlc for unlike tf2.

Okay, Im not taking sides, all Im doing is pointing out the similarities. Right the Sniper looks sort of like the Sniper from TF2 except futuristic armor on and without the hat. The gunner only has one resemblance between the heavy and thats the minigun. Assault class sort of looks like the demoman from TF2 as he carries grenade launcher and hes black. Lastly, the support class is a mixture of the engineer and medic as he can deploy turrets and heal people with a identical "medigun".
I play tf2 too and it has several similarities to this game. Which isnt a bad thing. 10 second juice 910 sec ubercharge) healing gun (medic medigun) guner (heavy) blue/orange (blue/red) art style. Several similarities but is a great game
@GAARAisthebeast Assault's pretty good all-around. Gunners are pretty powerful if you face them head on and if you're by yourself. They die pretty quickly if it's 2 on 1 though.
The reason it resembles TF2 is because they are trying to market the game to that audience. Fair play to the developers. Anyone whos played it will realise it does more than enough to differentiate itself where it matters, the gameplay. Awesome game, addictive as hell.

Well, it was implied that you had enough logic to fill in the gaps. A ripoff is a blatant copy/imitation. They pretty much took the Tf2 graphical style, the TF2 weapons and classes, and put it into a DOTA format with minor changes. If you don't see how obvious this is, you've never played Tf2. It might as well be the same game. Just look at the game engines. It's very obvious that MNC mirrors Tf2 extremely closely. It's funny because it's buggy and poorly done...a poor knockoff....

Icix1, you forget one important piece of information. This game doesn't require you to spend countless hours of your life to get some stupid silly little hats and equipment. Yeah. I went there. AND unlike TF2 this actually looks FUN. TF2 is Valve's version of WoW. Valve has made WAY better games.

@rofman22 I've played it. It's really not. Every Valve game ever made exceeds TF2. L4D, HL2, Portal, CS, even L4D2. Like I said before, it's Valve's version of WoW.

Just because the game has similarities and factors of those too games doesnt make it a ripoff. Thats like saying battlefield bad company 2 is a rip of mw2 because you can call in an airstrike. Your opinion is completely biased as you never state any reasons why its a rip-off. You just keep say that its ripping of tf2 and League of Legends without saying how it is. I've doubt that you've even played the demo. SO STFU unless you can throughly explain how it is a rip off.

Well, it was implied that you had enough logic to fill in the gaps. A ripoff is a blatant copy/imitation. They pretty much took the Tf2 graphical style, the TF2 weapons and classes, and put it into a DOTA format with minor changes. If you don't see how obvious this is, you've never played Tf2. It might as well be the same game. Just look at the game engines. It's very obvious that MNC mirrors Tf2 extremely closely. It's funny because it's buggy and poorly done...a poor knockoff....

I play fucking TF2 on pc and this isn't like it at all. Stop being ignorant and learn that its 3rd person and has different game modes. The only things they jacked were the art style and some of the classes a kinda similar. Chill your tits and don't comment or buy it if you think its a cheap knockoff which its not.

I feel sorry for uber entertainment, sure the visual cue and the classes MAY be akin to Team Fortress 2 but you can;t really say that, TF2 looks like something from pixar. TO me MNC looks like something from Dreamworks whilst TF2 is pixar.
