i know this sounds stupid, but i am just coming up to 15 and want to build a mini summer house for me and my friends to just relax in. i would like to know which wood/timber is the best to use to make it as i am not too sure. I am studying construction and resistant materials at school so i know which tools to use, and also the joining processes, please reply, very grateful. nice video by the way.

nice shed only thing is "nails from the nail gun" even though there galvanised when it gets the explosion weather its gas or air. it chips the coating off the nail leading it to rust. awsome shed though

It is nice to have customers with more money that sense wanting it built like that. I am guessing since it is not very well sealed that is what the customer requested. Too many unprotected joints. As for durability, That thing should survive an Earthquake unless it fell into a hole in the ground that swallowed it up.

I'd built a shed about 17 years ago from hard maple that was originally bought to be dried and used to make flooring. Dunno why the flooring Co. gave it way though. It shrunk but was strong as hell..cept for the roof. :( I stained it and it looked pretty good. The new owner covered it all up with roofing sheets and it looks like crap now. Still there anyway.
