@mvjurka, Actually it is very hard to get a tour now, they are very limited and it's not really owned by the people because if it was you could walk in and get a tour whenever and you can't even take pictures or videos while you are in the White House

I am a Canadian and I find the history and the beauty of the White House very interesting. I would love to go to Washington someday soon and visit the White House. I hope some American's can do the same with our Rideau Hall in Ottawa :)

@Nicole3900 Yea stayed at my cousins in Arlington. Shown all around DC. Hired a car & drove all the way up to NYC stopping off at motels, loved the people even strangers make you so welcome, apart from the customs officers that is, they treat you like third world illegal immigrants. Only there 2 weeks but will definitely return, so much more we wanted to see, but didn't have time. It was a life long ambition to go to NYC, never seen such a variety of different people in one city in my life.

PS - you should definitely visit New England next time. Go in the fall/autumn. It's gorgeous with the colors of the trees. Plus that's where our country started. I suggest Massachusetts.

@b3n890 Because this is America, not North Korea. The President doesn't live in a secret bunker, he lives in a house that is also a museum open to the public. The White House is a piece of American history and owned by the people.

Americans need to remember who we are and quite being pussies. The President is safe in the White House and if there is a threat there are plenty of measures to protect his safety. The fact you can post videos like this is what makes us Americans.

@CrazyProductions4u almost impossible. this doesnt tell us all that there is in there. there r tons of hidden exits and entrance doors. plus u cant even get anywhere close to the white house these days, its blocked off all the way around and to even see it u have to look from a couple blocks down.

In 1991, I was fortunate enough to go through the White House on the public tour and stood in amazement at various points around the exterior including coming down the stairs of Old Administrative Building. I wish that I would have seen this video prior to that trip! It would have made that trip even more special. Excellent rendering!
