nothing on my comment that of course, because he only works with the best? Why are you surprised? That was Stevie Ray Vaughan on China Girl way back when....absolutey noone commented on this? I don;t believe that.
@TenWhoWereTaken There are probably other ways to express own opinion on a different musical preference, ways that do not expire heavily in tone through distasteful words, ridiculing one physical appearance of an artist. All this shows even ignorance of the great value of a bassist like Dorsey, for long preferred (not for chance) by Bowie in his shining career. Without detracting from the legendary Bolder...
This song is immortal. Such simple, short lines as "we can beat them forever and ever" and "we can be heroes just for one day", yet they resonate in an unbelievable level. Bowie rules us all.
I like this arrangement, soft to loud. The original always sounded a little odd with the band / Fripp at full volume from the beginning. Bowie has had several really excellent band lineups, the updated live version of Fame is great too. .
I agree with your comments, dear Users, and thank you for your partecipations.
HEROES, without taking anything away from so many other masterpieces of David Bowie, remains in the center of my heart and in my attention, touching and moving, EVERY TIME.
It was recorded June 15, 2002 at Sony Studios in New York and is part of the DVD "LIVE BY REQUEST".
I apologize if in this track I have not specified, like in someone else my videos of this wonderful "A&E-LIVE!" by David Bowie.
Am I to thank you, my dear, for this one and other comments that you wanted to express today on the series "Live By Request" and "Storytellers", by a sincere feeling that comes from your heart: I think it is the most centred aim for a great Artist.
The performances of David Bowie are all, without distinction, jewels-art truly complete.

Wow, I'm so used to hearing that Fripp guitar drone in this song, it sounds kind of hollow without it.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Why the fuck did he have to hire Baldy-Locks and the Three Hairs as his bass player?
Trevor Bolder must be pissed off.

@TenWhoWereTaken Take a listen to the Live By Request 2002 version of Changes, you might change your opinion of Baldy-Locks.
