I still deal with it sometimes and I'm turning 20. There was a time when I had no one to turn to. Then, I found God again. It changed me. Now I know that whatever's going on I can ask for help. I'm not alone anymore. If you ever want to talk about it. Look me up. Just stay safe. That's the best thing you can do.
@mjgirl1111 i feel that way everyday.. what i do instead of running away i usually go out side turn on my ipod and just think about whatever's on my mind. if that doesn't work than i would talk out my feelings it could be with your mom, dad , or who ever you feel most comfortable talking with. i always talk it out with my dad cause he gets me so that might work
@mjgirl1111: have you tried talking to your parents? Does it make you feel better sitting by the creek? Maybe you could try writing your thoughts down to get them out of your head so at least it might feel like you've got it outloud. I know its easy to say dont worry, but the fact that complete strangers have responded to your message shows that not everyone out there is bad and that there are some really nice people in the world. :)
listen hun, you dont want to run away. I've been where you are. except, i only had one friend. I live with my mom and step dad and real dad doesnt give a shit about nothin concerning me. I ran away four times and tried to kill myself countless times. Its not worth it. when i fell in love it seemed like everything got better and then i got hurt worse than before. It sucks like hell and I hated my life for years. This song got me through alot in life. I felt like i could escape.

Recently he got into a fight with the current roomies and wants to move back with me and I told him no, go deal with the problem and he refuses. He doesn't know what to do because he has run out of places to run away to.
@mjgirl1111 Many people have the feeling to runaway because they felt like shit. Many people just wanted to jump off a building so they can perish away so they won't ever feel pain. I've been through all of that, but I figured If I ran away what would everybody think. I don't want them to feel pain because of me. What if I really did perish away from this earth. I wouldn't have been able to share great memories with my cousins who I haven't seen for 3 years!

@SophL26 and @mjgirl1111 sounds like you're both fairly young. Believe me I didn't have the best home life growing up, but I can say that running away doesn't make the problems disappear. Sounds like you both are lacking a good support system and are seeking love from those around you. From experience the best thing you can do is to find a way to love yourself first! Once you do you'll realize that not everything is as devastating and even better you'll find strength you never knew existed.

@mjgirl1111 lifes a journey longer than you think....when i was 12 i also thought running away was the answer.... but id rather fight away..... its pointless running and hiding ... face your problems one by one and dont give up settling it, and once you have conquered those problems that you have you will know that running can never be a good answer..

@mjgirl1111 I run away Last month and I'm 12 too. I threatened my dad and he said he'd be glad if i went and i told my mother and she asked why i just said because i wanted to. I did for two week when i saw my dad running through the forest toward my camp. (I had a den In the forest so I slept there, I never thaught he would find me there it was like half a mile away) He saw me and came running. Only when I saw the desperateness in his eyes I legged it and leaped into his arms message me formore

@mjgirl1111 sometimes evryone want to run away from something. i am 19 and i had a lot of problems too. try to dont think at what your familie and friends would do... just trust them!! and even if they dissapoint you sometimes , well , that is because nobody is perfect... . running away is an option , but staying and facing the hell , that is the better option. search a way to make things better... .

@SophL26 and @mjgirl1111 sounds like you're both fairly young. Believe me I didn't have the best home life growing up, but I can say that running away doesn't make the problems disappear. Sounds like you both are lacking a good support system and are seeking love from those around you. From experience the best thing you can do is to find a way to love yourself first! Once you do you'll realize that not everything is as devastating and even better you'll find strength you never knew existed.

I heard this song on Ghost Whisperer, and just had to find it online. I love the fact that this song can be interpereted in so many ways for all different situations and people. Everyone needs to "run away" at some point in their life. This song came at just the right time for me, and I'm so grateful for it.

Theres just too much drama in my life, my family is always fighting, I'm judged for who I am, my parents dont really show that they care about me. And they barley talk to me anymore. All theyll do is sleep, or spend like the whole day on the computer and not even pay attention to whats all happening. I cry everyday.. I'm sick of it.. I dont feel loved. If you don't feel like your parents will take you seriously, speak to another adult who you think can speak to you parents with you. There is medication that can make you feel better. There are counselors out there that can help. Please don't harm yourself.
