@ResponderPSE Bored out to 673 WOW! we just sold a truck that had a 460 and boy was it powerful, all 7.5 liters of it. When I think fire truck, I think a FORD F-250 with a 460 and a ton of lights. This is the first time I`ve seen a truck that looks like one that would come out of my dreams.
@XxrotorayxX Yes, however, we ended up moving and putting in the front of the bumper since it was blocking too much air on the highway. I hope to have a new video online in the next few weeks. Be sure to subscribe so you'll be able to view it when it comes out.
Why is it that with the newer responders vehicles, EVERYTHING has to be hidden?(Lights, siren speaker, etc!) I LOVE YOUR TRUCK and it has more blue on it that I HAVE EVERY SEEN on any pov. CAN I HAVE IT!!!???? jk. But Nice set up and what siren are you running in it? (and how does it sound?)
Brandonya1990, it's actually an '87. Originally it was an F-250HD, now, it's more like an F-450 with all of the customization including the Dana 80 rear axle. Thanks for watching the video.
Looks nice only one issue I have - If your going to go split red/blue, the red goes on the driver side and the blue goes on the passenger side! That's the international standard.
Thanks for your comment. I know that most split configurations are set up like this, however, I believe that blue on the driver's side is much more effective, especially at night on a busy interstate. The blue close to traffic stands out from the tail lights. Also, I just like to do things differently :)
It's fine as there is no law about it in your area, but in some communities it is required to have red on the driver's side because the red is supposed to signal oncoming traffic to stop while the blue is supposed to signal traffic ahead and to the right to pull over. Although, in reality, nobody puts that much thought into it; people just see red or blue flashing lights and [don't] pull over.
I seriously have to say, that truck is incredible. It impresses me everytime I see it. You really do have more light on that truck than my local Brush, Rescue, Amublance and Ladder combined. I COUNTED.
haha, that's pretty funny. I have to make some improvements this spring and then we'll get it out and get some real action video. Oh, yea, it will have some more lights too :)
nice

Nice. It seems the older trucks work better than the newer ones these days. They have less problems.
