  • hmmm... wonder what this has to do with a three-bedroom ranch? Great ad though!

  • Obama's priorities: middle class, energy independence, curtailing emissions, and restoring US world image

McCain's priorities: corporate kickbacks, lobbyist friends, retarded babies, and the rich

  • god this narrorator is bomb he did extreme engineering too and the ads are to die for Obama 08

  • yes we can

  • i saw this in GA today! OBAMA/BIDEN 08

  • The very core diplomatic skillset that Obama possesses and commands is very much lacking in Washington; our country needs this kind of leadership now more than ever. He can disagree with a viewpoint without demonizing differing opinions and is willing to hear all points of view.

Obama not only has my vote and ongoing donations, him and his family are in our prayers.

Best of luck and God Bless.

    Obama 08 12

  • i like obama. he's change. we need that. go obama. ok. he knows what he's doing and he has a great family to support him.

  • This is airing in Virginia. Great ad :)

  • this is a wonderful ad. Proof is in the pudding. look at all the Bushites with their panties in a bunch because they're scared. Truth hurts repubs. This is America, if you're lookin for commie pinkos look no further than your Bush-McCain buddies, how much was it

$3 trillion borrowed from communist China from Bush. These unpatriotic & ignorant haters here would rather live in fear then support the best of their nation. To shame.

Luckily nobody cares what u cons think, look what u did 2 US

  • obama 08

  • thats a postive ad not a navgative ads that mcsame uses to show his jealousy to obama

  • best obama ad yet..

  • by far the best obama ad yet. but i would like to see him attack mcsame!!!

  • Good effective Ad.

  • Maybe if the middle class didn't expect to live like royalty, we wouldn't be destroying the world to accommodate them. It's unsustainable, and research shows that once you have enough material wealth to not be in poverty, additional wealth does not lead to additional happiness. Now, if we allowed people to find meaning in their lives, rather than chasing products, that could do the trick.

  • keeping it positive. that's the way to go, buddy.

  • does anybody else think its ironic when GOP hacks give negative thumbs to comments like Barron's saying to keep it positive.

Obama for President, McCain for helping sell Budweiser 2 Europe. Thanks McCain whats next my Marlboro Reds?

  • Good, positive, informative ad. Doesn't waste time attacking Barack Obama like wrinkly old white haired guy's ad does.

  • Great ad! It is very well informative & doesn't miss a beat.

  • Damn straight!

  • Oh ok. Anything posted opposing this video gets deleted. I get it. Typical liberal tactics.

  • We, europeans, look ahead to welcome President Barack Obama 08.

    TWO THUMBS UP!

  • you guys should really start focusing on foreign policy. "we are all georgians" opens a massive hole. explain to people you can't just make enemies out of the whole world. threats like russia can only be 'fought' by reassembling the economy, the military, and good foreign relations first. empty bravado is not the answer.

  • i agree

georgians got what they deserved, and russians were right to move in, destroy the georgian war machine, and move out

instead of staying in the country for 100 years like some superpowers we wont mention

  • I love obama but i can't stand the corny music!!

  • It's a soft issues ad aimed at midle class America and, unheard of from John McShame, its not negative. Nice to see advertising that is respectful...I will vote for Obama. Yes, he is less known than McCain, but I already have had enough of Bush and the Republicans in the Whitehouse...they have screwed the pooch.

  • america would be the country that god would bless the most soon... this guy really cares!

    god bless america

  • Since I'm going to be in medical school, and spend 12 years of my life in school training to become a physician...I really don't want a president who is going to take away even more of my income when I get out than currently (around 40% taxes on those making above 200k). Not saying that is Barack, but just saying that is something I keep in mind when choosing who to vote for. (Hopefully he will give us full tax plan details so we can know exactly what he is going to do)

  • You are going to medical school for all the wrong reasons. Think about health care, and why Americans need universal health care.

  • You'll be making 120k and your not going to be happy? jeez whats wrong with you.

  • id be happy with a third of that

  • you'll be paid fine and when you get out into the field will realize that actually you'd support exactely what Obama describes. Think of how many people don't go to the doctor because they don't have insurance or just simply can't even afford their copay. I think you'll be just fine this isn't exactely socialism bud its a sound & well founded agenda 2 solve our nations healthcare crisis, which will have 2 be passed thru both the House and Senate, the direction provides far more than vast insight

  • Sounds like a good plan. Let's hope the corporate fascists don't try to pull a coup like they tried on FDR. They will go to any lengths to maintain their grip on power. We need to stay vigilant & not fall for their lies. Remember - they run the media.

  • McCain is going to get voted for by upperclass, poncy newspaper-studying old men. Obama appeals to the whole of the US, as well as having the advantage of being black because black Americans would be more inclined to vote someone into the first black Presidency.

  • don't count on it =)

Many educated and intelligent people who make plenty are going to support Obama and are sick of what these Republicans have done to America. Remember they're not stupid. You can count on some people no matter where you go as being selfish..don't always count on it being the majority. But you are right Obama appeals to us all because he speaks truth and offers the real judgement and strong leadership. He so far out shadows his oppenent it is more than obvious

  • There are more intelligent people that know its important to vote the issues, not the party. Obama has never been in any tough leadership role and has zero experince. Tough Questions are "Above HIS Paygrade" His hardest decision was being against a war he didn't vote on. McCain put his Country First a as POW in Vietnam a and U.S. Senator thats broken from his party many times.

    Country First McCain 08

  • People who make under $45,000 per year (the current cost of 'lower middle class' living for one year in the US) should not pay any income taxes at all! The IRS 'standard deduction' should be 45K.

  • Even the dumbest brainwashed republican would find this ad very difficult to criticize. I just hope this is for real.

  • sighs

  • Jesus christ, he copied Mccains "I approve this message"

Or Mccain copied him... im not sure cos I dont experience american tv ^^

  • It was made a requirement that ads placed by the campaign have that "Iapprove this message" clip so that we know if an ad is directly from them. In America, there are different groups, on the right and left or supporting specific interests (anti-war, christian fundamentalists etc) who will place their own ads and we can see that the politician did not place it themselves.

  • It is required by law for their to be a statement at the end of an advert showeing where the ad came from

  • that is something you have to say, if it the ad is funded by your campaign

  • any candidate for any position says at the end of any ad who they are are and that they approve the message. to show it is actually from the campaign

  • obama or ur mama

    on my channel

  • woo OBAMA!

  • Si se puede!!

  • Not a bad ad. You will need better to hit McCain before the end though.

  • Excellent ad!

    OBAMA 08!

  • Awesome ad.

  • well done, thats the way to give voters an informed choice in an election.

  • Keep up the good work Senator!

  • OBAMA!! FOR 2008!!!!!!

  • OBAMA!! FOR 2008!!!!!!

  • I hope this is an Olympic commercial. I love that is doesn't mention the grumpy old man. I love that it's dense on specifics. Great ad. Of course, it helps that Obama has great policies so he has something to say other, unlike the grumpy old man who just spends his ad time whining.

  • nice

  • Obama 08'

    yes we can!

I campaign for you everyday at my local office :)))))

  • You should represent all classes of our society and none over another. That class envy manipulation is what gets democrats into trouble. Taxing people over certain levels puts small businesses in trouble because many are paid out of personal income, looking like they have a greater income than they really do. This is sad. Instead of a communist style graduated income tax, why not just tax us once and be done with it? This could boost growth like many Euro nations are doing now. Big growth.

  • Mccain's false ads offer no solutions to our problems

Thank you for not lowering yourself to that level!

  • man i hope the attack ads mcsame is running dont work. we need something like obama to lift our spirits not bring us down like mcsame.

  • Yes We Can!

    Obama '08 '12

  • It's nice to see a positive ad.

  • YES WE CAN!!

  • woo hoo!!! go Obama!

  • wow what a commercial, Barack Obama for president 08!!!!!

  • Obama 'forever! lol

  • Great vid! Way to stay on the high ground.

  • Barack Obama pwns... all!

  • OBAMA!! FOR 2008!!!!!!

  • Screw that! Obama for 2008 AND 2012!

  • Please somebody tell me: Why can´t McCain make this kind of informative and optimistic Ads about his plans for our country instead of talking about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears? Why? What is he afraid of?

  • He's afraid that if he lays out what he really believes in then even more people are going to realize that Obama is right and he really is just a Bush 3rd term. So he just keeps attacking Obama with his childish celebrity meme while Obama lays out a very positive plan for our future.

  • Because his policy commitments and waffles would make it a lie. He's got nothing, so he winges about Obama's popularity...never acknowledging WHY Obama is popular...because we like his politics, his plan, his family, his values, and the way he has conducted himself, the life choices he has made. We also like the fact that electing OBama can do quite a bit to repair the damage Bush has done to our national image abroad....McSame prmises 4 more years of the same old shit. He's got NATHAN.

  • Because negative works, ask Karl Rove. Scare people enough, place enough doubt in their little brains, and you can get away with anything. Repugs have nothing to run on, certainly not their record, so negative is all they have to offer.

  • He thinks he has to make Celebrity ads. He knows thats very few people are excited about McCain the way we are about Barack. Carl Rove and his lackies are turning McCain into someone he isnt in an attempt to smear Barack. McCain should be running on being a maveric in the senate, but sadly he is taking the low road.

  • McCain's afraid of having policies, I guess.

  • because his plans suck lol (mccain i mean)

  • McCain is afraid that people will find out the real truth behind him: he is a bellicose, self-centered, right-wing extremist who has sold himself to the highest bidder and will do the same to America if he somehow wins.

  • Modern day republicans don't equate with optimism. The very name 'conservative' means holding on to a way of life, no matter how squalid it gets.

  • very nice video if i lived in america i would vote for you...

  • naw you dont wanna live here lol

  • You gotta love this guy!

  • No you don't. Well, unless, of course, you're ready to usher in the destruction of America.

  • No you don't.

  • I trust in you all the way Mr. Obama! Obama for president 2008!!!!!

  • 30k views and no comments? What? no auto approve? I support Obama but that's censorship.

  • Obama your my hero.

  • Very good add. Talking about the issues, nothing more, nothing less. Without casting flames to anyone to boot. Good work!

  • I. Love. This. Ad.

  • Great positive ad for the Olympics, unlike McSame's disgraceful attacks during such a uniting event like the Olympics.

  • obama 09!

  • nice. it was very calm and cool unlike the McCain attack ads.

  • Another Home Run.

  • Yes we can!!

  • First. This is a good ad. I like when Obama speaks on the issues and is uplifting. His greatest strength is his message of hope for a better America tomorrow.

  • Nice Ad, keep em coming!

  • Obama all the way

  • i love this commercial, we do not need more negative ads. Obama 08.

  • A real plan, with real hope. OBAMA 08

  • Oopsie, sorry I had typos in last comment.

  • Sounds good to me.

  • Yipee, I definitely have the utmost faith that Barack Obama shall help, substantially help repair the American economy as President of The United States of American, indeed, without a doubt. Go Obama; Go!!!

  • Excellent. I like the bullet points and the visual representation in the background is very classy.

  • A good positive ad, lays out his basic economic plan in under 30 seconds...no easy feat. Perfect for the Olympics..."putting hard working Americans first."

  • I'm TeleShaman and I too approve this message.

  • positive ads! thank you

  • nice , firstxDDDD

  • Go Barack Obama! America needs a change!

  • This in respect to McCain's ads shows the choice we Americans are being given.

  • Nice; Barak all the way.

  • These guys are good - first rate production, staying positive, vs the old-school negativity/lies of McBush/Rove commercials.

  • Check that out: Barack Obama, always the leading example of quality positive ads, and the only one confronting the serious issues.

  • amazing

    Obama '08

  • Lead via VISION and not via FEAR mongering... excellent Obama!!

  • OBOMA 08!!!

  • Awesome ad.

  • good!

  • If he can pull it off, more power to him.

  • Finally the Obama Campaign has an ad that addresses specific economic directives for the American working class. This was not a McCain response ad but rather a message that has needed to be communicated to American voters.

  • Excellent Ad.. i love it.. keep up the good work.. OBAMA - PRESIDENT 08 - YES WE WILL!

  • Great ad. I wish I could vote in your election:-) Congrats, on finally having a candidate who isn't a free market anarchist.

  • This is an excellent ad by the Obama campaign. They finally have addressed specific economic directives for the working class American. This is not a McCain response ad, but rather an Obama specific ad. Thank you!

  • woot woot go obama!

  • Obama '08

  • Good job Barack. Give us a landslide!
