I just watched the whole serie. It was ok overall, and brilliant and exciting at times. I've despised Yagami Light the whole time (from the second episode to the end). When he started to kill innocents, then his bullshit about justice just didn't hold up anymore. He was very shallow and his personality had no depth. Eventually he became worst than most of the people he killed.
Really L was the best character in this serie. As for Misa, she had no personality, she was transparent.
So basically I'm not happy with the end of Death Note. L's get killed, and before that he's hand cuffed. I'm also unhappy Light loses his concentration and people shoot him.
Death Note is special because it's different something new and fresh. Not the same fantasy sword fighting over power battle type of anime/manga. It deals with realistic stuff along with supernatural events which makes it very good and different. I got no problem with fantasy stuff but it be nice if there would be new stuff besides the same fantasy stuff.
Wait but remember when Rem said that if a Shinigami was to kill someone in her Death Note she would die? Well Ryuk killed Light with his and I dont think he died..and when in the end Misa was in that maid costume along that side of the bridge, did she, like, commit suicide? ~V

Death Note and Gundam Wing are the 2 most intelligent anime series of all time and have a level of sophistication and brilliance that is rare not just in anime but in television and film media.
Gundam Wing's take on politics makes the story complex and requires the viewer to research politics in order to understand it.
Death Note being a detective story easily makes it mind-stimulating.

I liked season first of Jigoku Shōjo because it was cruel and had good ending. All Enma history, how she died. It took like 10 freaking ep to start a story line. Yea it is realy cool to kill people and watch them suffer( I realy don't know why) but it repeats! On SEcound season just all things go da same. Like 10 ep to start storyline. 3 season watch 1 ep and dropped.. Enma Just comes back and all shity deaths repeats... Omg she killed only a village, and she must suffer so much!? BULLSHIT

I have yet to see Death Note. I've recently watch the Fullmetal Alchemist series and I'm convinced thats the best series ever. If I watch more Anime it has to be on the same awesomeness level as FMA. If you say its that good I may have to give it a try.

Death Note is my 2nd fav, also, 1st for me is Gundam Wing, because Wing is the most intelligent anime, it's so intelligent that the story is complex and gives people a real understanding of politics. And he fact it's so intelligent and complex means that everything is well thought out and is very believable and hardly took advantage of the fact that it was a science fiction mecha for selling model kits. Death Note is a very close 2nd.

Deathnote is by far my favorite anime/manga for 3 simple reasons.
1. GREAT storyline. Sure, it isnt as good after Near appears, but its still DAMN good, with great, unique artwork.
2. Its not long, and drawn out, like so many other anime/manga's. I.E. Naruto, Bleach, etc.
3.There is little to none of that typical cutesy, chibi (or whatever you wanna call it) stuff.

I heard of L having that syndrome but maybe the kind that is 40% or 10% which means he can talk fine, and he is almost normal comepletly. did you saw how L sits? 1 Reason.

Actually No one is diagnosed with Autism as such, they would be diagnosed as being on the Autistic spectrum. Asperges is on the extreme end on Autism ( some people may have seen Rainman ) tis one examble of someone being on the Asperges side of the spectrum..

@eagletrigger uumm it's like ...uumm you don't understand feelings well i guess is an easy way to say it, i don't think L has it i think he has a vary high IQ and was vary isolated from others and probebly just unable to connect to other kids and develop normal social behaviore or he just chooses not to follow normal and just do's what he wants (sry for bad spelling)

I have yet to see Death Note. I've recently watch the Fullmetal Alchemist series and I'm convinced thats the best series ever. If I watch more Anime it has to be on the same awesomeness level as FMA. If you say its that good I may have to give it a try.

I actually just got to see the series. There were episodes where I was literally holding my breath or was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. All I can say is it was really good lol

Death Note is my 2nd fav, also, 1st for me is Gundam Wing, because Wing is the most intelligent anime, it's so intelligent that the story is complex and gives people a real understanding of politics. And he fact it's so intelligent and complex means that everything is well thought out and is very believable and hardly took advantage of the fact that it was a science fiction mecha for selling model kits. Death Note is a very close 2nd.

good review on the show. My favorite character is L because I believe he was justice, Light however was not justice he was just a smartass who let power get to his head, and probably has a lowest number of fangirls ever.
and I agree Misa is the most irritating character ever made!
