ethanol is crap! It ruins todays engines....i see it ruining all my small engines and my cars and trucks (ie fuel repairs) all run like crap with this crap additive!! the life of fuel with ethanol is about 30 days stored before it breaks down to a small amount of water and a solvent that attacks various parts of your fuel delivery system!! i drive an hour away now to a gas station that had 100% gas and it runs my gas engines like they should....wake up America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great explanation. People also worry about the damage ethanol can do to cars. Right now we have approval for E15 in vehicles back to 2001, so just think that in 10 years that car will be twenty years old. By that time the vast majority of gas vehicles should be fine running on an ethanol blend. Another aspect is that as soon as the technology is scaled up we'll move from grain based ethanol to cellulosic, & farther down the road algae may just take over the industry.
