  • You're too beautiful to be rejected. Don't worry about those people that gave you problems. They are just afraid of deaf people due to lack of knowledge and being educated about deaf people :) *hugs*

  • Part 2: For me I am deaf, into 30's, still struggling it is because I don't have the same support as you have now, no "true" friends and I even cannot come out of the house without being invited or feel more worthy or if they care about me or think of me just the same level as they do with their own circle. Yes I need help because I am struggling but I can't do it without any support from others

  • Are you still in pain to this day or are you getting better now you have your family friends around you? Are they close to you dearly?

  • What do you mean you were isolated? Are you the only deaf in the family?

  • It's all about being in the right group that will accept you for who you are. I love my childhood friends and we get together regularly. I also have deaf friends who I love. Obviously, you're a very bright character and I've no doubt you'll eventually find the right group. God knows I have. It may take time, but you'll eventually find the right folks to hang out with and enjoy.

  • What is pain? There is 2 kind of pains...the one which somebody pyshically hurt you . It is a natural pain you must take care off. The other pain is just mental. You like mental pain? then suffer! Because the only pain I recognize is the pyshical pain. If you are a church member then you are going to glorify and endure your pain. Don't be an asshole. Live and die!

  • so you want to know my pain? for the last Few months i been hurting inside and i have been sad lately because of my dad being in Prison it all started when i was a t work then after work he didn't show to pick me up i know this is going to sound confusing! but! i found out that he shot himself:( but he is in prison for forgery and other things and yes that is my pain but i am doing things to forget about it! and i'll do the best i can:)

  • No need to forget your pain.. I was saying to simply turn it into a passion for something. Perhaps a passion to be there for the fatherless, maybe?

  • I agree. I feel lot of pain because hearing people make fun of me while I work. Every weekend, I drive away from sinful Los Angeles, CA to North California that help me to heal pain from workplace bullies. Gossip is damage my personal life.

I quited church because of bad people talk about me. Don't go back to bad church because of gossip and fell in love with my ex-boyfriend.You are not alone. Same things happen to me many many time by rejected. Many times I always cry because of reject.

  • good for you! waiting on your next blog.

  • hi, you really need to find a Deaf church for you to go to. I grew so much in the Lord and found out who I am as a Deaf man of God and really grew in the Lord as Deaf man. You would be more comfortable in a Deaf church and would grow so much more. Right now being in a hearing church you feel different you feel isolated and you miss a lot of what is being said. Deaf Christians are more patient and more willing to help people who do not sign asl very well. Please find a Deaf church in your area.

  • I hope this makes sense: my pain and passion are the same: ministry! Sometimes ministry can hurt, when people don't accept the Lord or cause problems. But that is why it is my passion. Because the Lord called me to see CHANGE! :-)

  • glasses turn me on.

  • i have glasses too. :) my friend likes to borrow them and then make them go up and down.

  • Well my pain is everyhing i mean ppl made fun of me and hurt me and everything..But im glad that i have family and friends who supports me..by the way your awesome! thanks for help!

  • my 9th grade year was my worst year of my life b/c the year prior...i found out the reason why i was growing slower than my classmates

I had scoliosis and in 9th grade my height difference in the guy population was so great...i was taken advantage of

like the new fish in prison, I had no "real" friend

  • I confess this brought a tear to the eye of a harden old soldier. What an inspiration you are Chelsea! God has blessed you.

  • Try to reach out to those who are rude and rejecting as well. If they can be helped, perhaps they will not hurt another.

  • Of course, Every deaf people are too and same thing as yours I am too .. you are not the alone person smile God bless you .. :)
