  • My absolute favorite song by The Who.

    Proto-power pop at its finest.

  • @iburiedpaul86 It definitely ranks up there with their best but if you would ask someone here in the states if they now of this song they will most likely say, NO. What a shame.

  • I am in so love with this music !

  • WHY is it classed as being underrated?? One of the best songs on one of the best LP's ever - Always stay in my collection (beat up as it is!)

  • great song

  • Best song on the album.

  • This was the first lp i bought...every week i wouls go into the store and pay a bit off from my pocket money...come Christmas Eve i was still a bit short but the nice man let me have it anyway...wasnt that interesting

    Jim

  • @captainsoul1953 you won't get that these days jim. nice story mate...

  • ask "who is that?",,I just smile and tell them it is the greatest rock song by the greatest rock band that ever was and i think back to that hot summer day and my Camaro....

  • The Who.....if God had a rock band it would be the Who....I still remember driving down the road in my Camaro and the song came on Won't get fooled Again....I was so moved I pulled over to listen to it for my first time...I knew (i was only 16) that that song would forever be the most amazing song I would ever hear.... have enjoyed so much music before and since that summer day but as I still hear that epic tune played over here in the States on TV shows and Super bowls and i hear young people

  • sounds like the byrds, nice!

  • Thanks for this rare jem! Shows good taste in music. cheers!!

  • A breakup song that rocks.

  • released i in Dec66....my first album.........

  • Awesome tune, love the version by 'the Jam' too!

  • lol youre encouraging arent you ♥ such a great song ♥ <3 ♥

  • i need to get this album xD

  • @theapplejude You should haha :D

  • @Grafietstift...hey what albums do you recommend...i own tommy and who's next, i recently kind of heard quadrophenia and i liked it so i'll probably get that but what else?????

  • @SiameseDream4321

Hey! Well The Who did many kind of music.

For music which makes you happy and synthesizers: Who Are You

I can recommend The Who By Numbers too, I love that album.

For a great live album, get yourself Live At Leeds or The Who live at the Isle of Wight. (or the dvd)

A Quick One and My Generation might be a bit disappointing, and I wouldn't buy It's Hard nor Endless Wire either, if you just start listening to the Who, and not being a huge fan. I hope this could help you. :)

  • @Grafietstift dude i wouldnt say A quick one and My generation is disapointing.... its really good, just different from thir later stuff... its more of a mid-60's sound, heavely Beach boys influenced if you arsk me... it all really depends what kind of music you like

  • @RickardoMute Yea that's true, but the other albums I mentioned are just the stuff I would start with, if you start with A Quick One you might be like "meh.." 'cause the other albums are just... well it's just a bigger chance you like those albums, and then you can listen to A Quick One (for instance) as well, I mean I love the Who so I don't think any of their albums are bad or disappointing.

  • @Grafietstift right... i got ya now.. good point, more people seemed to like thierlater type stuff anyway... butt yeah im with you, i LOVE the who, and everything ive herd from them sounds amazing to me

  • @RickardoMute :D Yep

  • @SiameseDream4321 I disagree with SiameseDream. I was a Who fan from 1965 and would say that the first 3 LPs, Live at Leeds and Who's Next are the best. Tommy was disappointing, no power. Quadrophenia was one LP to long and after that, well, I sold the next two and never bought any more. You will have to decide, it's your taste not mine that counts.

  • @SiameseDream4321 the who sell out is their most accessible album

  • @theapplejude Did you get it?what did you think?

  • drumming not seen this toolatly get out side feel this song likr the day peacepeople puter pepolr

  • Also a classic song about self abuse :)

  • Probably a quick one, and boris the spider, I myself like Run, run, run, because of its catchy theme.

  • I would say A Quick One would be #1

  • One of Pete's best, you know. x

  • One of me favorite Who songs from this album.

  • As underrated as it is, I LOVE THIS SONG.

    3rd best on the album!

  • No way is it.......

  • Very underrated song. Nice of you to put it up.
