  • whoa that looks incredible! I mean the pictures don't even seem fake unless those are different people.. even though the lighting is a bit different but it wouldn't still have looked that good in the after pictures if the scars didn't get better.

  • Even if the scars are still there...but if they are not that deep like before..i guess this will make so many people happy. If i had seen this before...my hubby just went back from manila to germany. Baka next time...

  • Hi ,I agree with you the scars are still there..the treatment options for acne scar revisions presented will just improve the scars and depending on the type of scars, multiple combination treatments will be necessary..and this I make sure patient understands before the undergoing the appropriate procedure for his type of ace scars..

  • Dont be fooled by this, The lighting is not the same the scar is still there

  • 0:33 nice mustache

  • how much does it cost? if my scars look like in 0:40.

    and will it be permanent?

and is it a 100% effective?

  • why is the lighting for the AFTER pictures always warm/orange lighting? making the scars less visible

  • how much does it cost for acne scar treatment?

  • so which is better LASER RESURFACING like PIXEL or subcision ???

  • @prettysexynikki

Both procedures have their own advantages,..depending on the scar type combination of treatments produce better result.

  • Acne scar treatment involves combination of treatments to increase the yield. In this case patient had subcision and dermal filler.

  • I have a question with this. This subcision procedure seems to be combined with derma filler, which helps to fill up the scars and make it look more smooth. So how would we know if the improvements seen in this patient, is truly due to the subcision procedure, or the derma filler?

  • wow there's no trace of acne scar at all! how many session to achieve this look? is this a temporary thing? i know dermafiller is just temporary. im interested.

  • @kim103live

its 1-2 sessions ..the effect stays for 5 years or more ...scars stay better than the original

  • @TheHairphil is subcision's results permanent? how long does it take to see its benefits? what are the risks of making the scars worse? thanks cj

  • @TheHairphil you dont mean the subcision is going back right?

  • It looks like youre using a needle vs a blade to perform the subcision, is there an advantage to this? Also the technique you use to break up the tissue, almost like a "fanning" motion, is there a name for that? I'm considering having this procedure done, thank you.

  • @sandinista138

use needle is more precise to perform subcision

  • So subsicion breaks scar tissue down. Does this allow new collagen to produce?

  • @KillSwitchOnSteriods

Yes,subcision may induce new collagen formation but not as much as laser surgery and other invasive scar treatment options.

  • They're cheating with the lighting in these pictures. Notice that the before pictures are taken with the light source above, making the scars more visible due to the shadows.

In the after pictures, the lighting is from the same direction as the camera, meaning they're less visible since there is no shadow.

Also, the before pictures are paler, while the after pictures have a warmer color.

  • @ChudFapper Hi , I respect your opinion, but I beg to disagree with you..pictures were taken with the intention to document the results. Its really hard for us to take exactly the same view and the same light because we are no professional photographer but, we will note your suggestions to improve our pictures .

  • needle prick is bearable as in any other minor procedures.

  • In all types of surgical procedures the initial prick and mild stinging from tumescent anesthesia administration,is the only discomfort one will experience. This is mild ,temporaryly short and tolerable. The patient is awake and very comfortable during subcision as seen on video.

  • does it hurt?

  • In all types of surgical procedures the initial needle prick and and mild stinging from tumescent anesthesia admistration is the only discomfort, but ,is mild short, and tolerable. The patient is awake and very comfortable during subcision as seen on video.
