The last picture shows the cancelled project Chiormy Oriol/ Black Eagle MBT, named Objekt 640 or T-80UM-2, a tank built on a lengthened T-80 chassis and suspension. The T-95 as far as I know is only a paper project, correct me if I'm wrong. The next tank to enter Russian service is the T-99 Armata, due 2014. Until then main tanks in Russian service are to be the T-72BM Rogatka, T-80UK and T80UM-1, and T-90A as well as T-90AM or MS.

Ah, artist's impressions... It's a shame these artists never understand that a tank needs to be capable of lowering its gun to negative elevations. I just hope the tank designers did, because if those drawings are accurate, the "T-95" would be completely useless, due to the simple fact that the real world isn't flat and smooth.

dude...the t-95's were designed about 20-30 years ago and scrapped permanently due to instability and bad engineering.

The T-95's are not a real tank, the idea was from the cold war.

Russia seems to be wakening up to the fact that modern war isn't about the massed armoured battles envisaged during the cold war. As political thinking changes so armed forces will need to change to deal with the real threat from guerrilas and insurgents armed with light and hollow charge weapons. It is more about intergrating your various weapons and communications now then just weight of metal.
