  • Eek raw open chicken above raw veggies :S You should put the meat on the bottom shelf just in case it drips.

  • Not to be too critical but the first thing we see is canned tuna and the title of the video is My Paleo Kitchen? I'm not 100% because I didn't live back then but I'm pretty sure there were no cans. All I'm saying is if you're gonna post a video on paleo, then be paleo!

  • CASHEWS ARE NOT PALEO!

  • Can you tell me what the item is you hold up and say is awesome? I can't hear what it is, something parts.

  • paleo diet=disease

  • Just a question and not meant as a criticism; I'm fairly new to Paleo and keep hearing that our protein and egg sources should all be grass fed. Was the chicken and eggs you purchased NON-grain? I'm only asking because i see so many differences in people's posts regarding what they eat on this program. Do you find that it doesn't matter? Or is it because of the 'budget' that these items aren't grass-fed?

  • @BJMcCray Your meat should come from grassfed, free living animals.

If you believe grain is bad for you, why shouldn't it be for animals who haven't evolved from eating grass ? And why eat unhealthy animals.

Anyways, 1 thing is for sure, the n3/n6 balance is significaly (spelling?) better if the animal has been grassfed and for chickens if they have been eating insects and veges instead of just grains.

about chickens, you shouldn't eat too much chicken fat, get your fat from 4 legged animals

  • @marjensendk @marjensendk OH, i wasn't asking for MY sake; i actually only eat grass-fed and pastured-animal products. i was asking the original poster because the chicken & eggs i saw in the video didn't SEEM to be grass-fed or pastured-eggs, coming from Cosco and all. ;o) I didn't think Cosco sold such a product, is all. And i didn't know if some people don't try to only eat grass-fed - keeping it as low-cost as possible (which we all know; grass-fed ISN'T)

  • tinned tuna has no nutritional value u can taste the metal for good sakes, its been dead in that can for about a year! and its preserevred in brine!

  • Some food with your hot sauce ;) I see the sriracha back there ... yummy!

  • you better be eating that meat raw bitch

  • I agree with the comments about upping the quality of your meat and eggs- nothing natural about how those animals are raised or the hormones and grain fed meat you are consuming.

  • Yes, grassfed is best! I get my from a local farmer, TEXAS, he delivers to several states once every two months and they are only slightly more expensive than grain fed meats. Since he delivers the meat, the delivery fee is only about $20 for a 50lb. box. U can also order less than that. I hightly recommend Paidom Meats. Also, farmers markets are a good source for grassfed meats. They are LESS expensive than Whole Foods!

  • Please remember to soak, then dehydrate your nuts/seeds for easier digestion. Invest in a food dehydrator and yes nuts/seeds should be frozen or refrigerated, esp. walnuts since they go rancid quickly. IMHO walnuts are best bought in the shell when they are in season or order them online all year long due to this issue. Piece of cake once you get used to it. Paleo Rocks!

  • u need better quality meats bro

  • Great video. May I recommend you store meat beneath the vegetables in the fridge; raw beef and chicken could drip on vegetables beneath them. It's a sanitation issue. (restaurant asst. manager and nutrition major)

  • @livewiya is it just me or is it annoying/stupid that fridges put the veggie drawers at the bottom?

  • how is coffee paleo? out of curiosity do you let that meat thaw out and eat it right there?

  • so basically eat as much animal as you want, get fat and tired, drink the expressos for energy. am i missing something here? This guy has no fruits and veg in that fridge, dont expect anything great out your body if the fridge looks like a slaughterhouse.

  • @partyboylacrosseb520

look at his bottom drawer in the fridge.. pretty sure thats a pepper staring you in the face lol

  • Day 4 on paleo! Not to bad...,seems I've been paleo-ish just hadn't turned the corner!

Just happy to rid the sugars out of my life. along with good eatings.

  • did u just say u got back from costco? I hope u didnt get your red meat from there. I doubt costco would have quality red meat. I am thankful i have grass fed beef options in my area. hopefully u do too.

  • Are you eating all organic? why shop at costco. You look great. just curious how high of quality all that is, thank you for sharing.. btw this is just my first video, so ill watch more and probably get these questions answered

  • @MahaNomi if you're on a budget costco has great veg/ fruit at really reasonable prices

  • wow this is EXACTLY what Atkins offered to me...i did it and lost 70 pounds...then i gained it ALL back as soon as i started a little carbs...Paleo will do the same...you can NEVER eat Paleo for a life time...the protein is going to get backed up in your kidneys and there u will say grace and die. Even if it doesn't you will die of trying to get ur kids to eat that way!

  • @maryamsm Hi, problem is how's your exercise regime like?

Another thing abt Western eating habits (esp American one) is bloody unhealthy. One of the main culprit is Corn Syrup. (Just a fyi)

  • @macrick well the problem is I have a middle eastern diet which include a lot of dead vegetables, meat and rice. Also sugary sweets that have honey...my exercise life is a disaster and i hate myself for it...I just started the Swedish diet and having small meals throughout the day with 3 servings of fiber such as whole grain cereal, bread and oat meal...so far it's working out...and it also includes 20 min of workout a day...i think i can do this one...i've lost 5 pounds in 18 days too. yey.

  • @maryamsm Well, take brisk walks for starters. Exercise N Diet go hand in hand. make time for it too. :)

  • @maryam you are silly, until 10,000 years ago every man on the planet ate paleo. no backed up kidneys what ever that means? doesnt matter has no bearing on the issue when overwhelming proof says you are dead wrong. the monkeys running about eating paleo were us. we were them. i can see why you stopped eating paleo, you simply were not dyeing yet. sorry to hear you are 70 pounds overweight, you should be dying soon. how is the diabetes working out for you?

  • i cant see a cave man eating cyane pepper you get that shit on your fingers and touch an eyball and you are gonna get ate up as a blinded cave man. dont put toxic ink marks on your shells it leaches into the egg and causes cancer.

  • Awesome! Instead of Costco I'd support local markets :o)

  • @durianriders You seem to have a lot of extremely retarded 'friends' on weird versions of primal and paleo diets. Might be time to review your social life!

  • Why do some Paleo experts include butter in their diet? It is dairy isnt it? I thought dairy was out. and salt aswell.

  • @halvaman3 depends on the butter

  • @halvaman3 I don't pay attention to that. It is an animal product, so I eat it. I always thought that was a little weird to exclude dairy. I still lost over 50 lbs, and I eat real butter, drink milk and use buttermilk for some cooking.

  • @faolbushcraft well thats nice you can tolerate milk, i cant.

  • @datzfast It wasn't directed at you. Eat what you can, and don't eat what you cannot.

  • Yeah, I am sure they had sea salt, vinegar, extra virgin oil, etc. in paleo days. NOT. I want to personally see you go outside and sink your teeth in the first animal you see, until then all this paleo is talk, talk, talk. Oh, and how come all that paleo crew like Mark Sisson sells all those supplements? I dont think they had that either in paleo days.

  • @IronCobra22 The paleo lifestyle isn't as stupid as doing the exact same thing as paleolithic humans. It's about achieving health the right way. Supplements, sea salt, vinegar, olive oil, coconut oil can all help in the journey to health. Most of us have jobs, we don't have the time to hunt all day long or prepare food.

  • @IronCobra22 It's not about listing every single thing they would or wouldn't have eaten, but rather looking at the nutritional value of what they ate (high fat/protein and low carb). And what do you mean by "go outside and sink your teeth into the first animal you see"? I think we both know you're just looking for things to poke at.

  • @IronCobra22 Also, check out Mark's Daily Apple. There's an article there where he explains why supplements are/can be included in the primal blueprint diet.

  • Nice! Thank God for Paleo and Crossfit huh? I get my meat and eggs from a local rancher, but depending on where you live, I heard Costco has bison ribs and have also seen some organic ground beef(some of which I hope is grass-fed) there. I get wild caught cod, shrimp, and smoked salmon there on occasion.

  • I thought that cashews were not one of the allowed nuts?

  • @faolbushcraft I think it's peanuts cuz they're legumes. Cashew are Nutz. =)

  • Nice hairstyle

  • Have read anything about the danger of polyunsaturated fats by dr.Ray Peat? if i were u i wouldnt eat any nuts/seeds at all!! please check out his website if u interessed at all!! All the best!!

  • omg you are beautiful. oh, nice video too.

  • You ought to keep those huge bags of nuts in the fridge/freezer, the oils in nuts can go rancid faster than you'd think.

  • Do you think i could drink almond milk, or it ha to be coconut milk ?
