I'm truly sorry to hear that. I had to put down my beagle Forrest last year after he lost his fight with bladder cancer. Like you said - missed more than words can say.

Oakley was the most beautiful basset, and the sweetest; unfortunately his life was cut short, at the young age of 5 due to dreaded kidney disease. :( I miss him more than words can say...

What a cutie pie! Our basset (Twix) likes to perch on the back of the couch like that, too. I always figured she learned it from the cat, but maybe it's a basset thing!
