  • I'd love to know what you guys used to record and get into the vid all of the telemetry info. That is awesome. Is there an off-the-shelf product anyone can buy?

  • Beautiful, I enjoyed a lot, thank you guys for posting. I think the guy behind is faster and has more effective riding, or maybe knwos better the track.

  • what kind of setup is the chase cam bike on ?

  • WOW sick vid!!

  • the track looks sketchy ...theres a few spots that dont have much run off ...

  • @mantownhq you would be correct

  • nice..i should be today there..:(

  • i know nate ;]. he stays at my house when he's near north carolina. he has a nice jeep.

  • Some day Ill be able to lean that far and that fast HAHAHaa!! Why dont we have a track like that here in Miami?!! It seems to be a very hot day because you can see the heat from the pavement, which may be why this guys are going all out without fear of lowsiding etc. AWESOME VID!!!

  • the DTC worked

  • super

  • dude almost looses it at 0:57

  • Yeah! and thats just a little too close to be riding to the guy in front if you ask me... still an insane video clip!

  • Nate was not going all out, you can see how he often looks back to make sure that the guy filming is still there and you can see it in many corners by the way he was riding... he also does have a tendency not to "push" it in those situations... so as not to introduce an adrenalin war. He is one of the fastest learners I have EVER dealt with when it comes to track knowledge and on top of that is always fun to watch and more fun to talk to...

  • an adrenalin war? Not even a chance of that...I could have passed him and left him for dead, not because Nate isn't a great rider....he certainly is. That bike was not very well set up, being a prototype the forks were HORRIBLE and he was pogo'ing the front like crazy. He had a VERY tough time braking into 1 and 7 because the forks would just bottom out. Nate is a good guy....nothing negative to say about him at all...but seriously...don't read too much into a promotional video

  • If you look at the data, the lap before he starts filming Nate was a 1:09.250 and Nate is running 1:14.763 first lap. Still good times for a bone stock bike though. I'm 99.999 percent sure the rider behind him is one of our Nesba CR's. Since there are only select ones who can run that pace, it's either Blume or Hix.

  • I doubt it. The video posted is at a reasonable pace for video purposes and on the day Nate was there nobody was running nearly as fast as him.

  • From the looks of it the guy filming was running as fast as him... and I'd say holding a bit in reserve (in order to maintain that close of an angle and never get left.. he wasn't running 10/10ths)

Remarkable bike that S1000RR is though. Props to Mr Kern as well.. Incredible #'s for anyone, let alone first time on that track on a new bike! Can't wait to ride one myself (albeit at a slower pace)

  • I'm thinking you are wrong. There were at least 3 people that were running 3 seconds faster than Nate Kern was at BHF that day. In Nate's defense...that bike was a prototype and wasn't set up that well.

  • I don't see any thing spectacular about it. I can run around the track on my r1 and r6 and do the same numbers.

  • Nice video - is he passing - is he not passing? Can he hold the lead? Nice track illustration and speedometer graphics. I know this track well and enjoyed watching.

  • Nice Video of Nate...I feel like I was actually on the bike riding behind him.
