I like the easy, meandering tone and purpose these guys show, but as a bass player, I'm embarrassed for the bassist here, letting loose a few notes from a badly out-of-tune instrument, as evidenced by the glare from the guitarist at 1:42 ... players in this open genre must realize that with so much musical "space" anything they do come under closer scrutiny ... that aside, I'll continue to enjoy their work

Being a response to BDP or VU does not mean you think it sounds like this I am sure. Those guys dont get it who commented. Its just some of the intensity.
Some of it makes me think of the Devil Dogs who played on a Lydia Lunch album. Queen of Siam.

This is good stuff! A mix of Nick Cave, Velvet Underground, Neu and dare I say Pat Methany with some of those jazz undertows. All in one, and for everyone. Tres Bien! Try feeding your mic through a Digitech Whammy pedal - you can thank me later. :)
