No matter how much we wish it were real, FC (facilitated communication) has been demonstrated scientifically to be a communication by the facilitator and not by the subject.

Why not just let all involved have their comforting delusion? The harm is that FC detracts from true scientific discovery that may one day help those that need it most.

FC is unscientific at best, a scam at worst, and the facilitating "doctor" should know it.
