  • What eyeshadow are you wearing ?? I love it :)

  • you're nose is just perfect did you have it done lol ;-).....

  • that was soooo helper and simple

  • Mac brush cleanser is horrible for your brushes. I had it and within the few months that i had it the bristles/hairs started sticking together and the bristles started to fall out. I reccomend a the one from sephora.

  • How much is the makeup brush cleaner?

  • @LoveLifeAndLaugh03 15.50 cad

  • Michelle Phan's way to clean brushes is so much better. I have save about $50 or more from using her method. Plus brush cleaner reeks of alchol which I hate.Olive and dishsoap works way better and faster and cleaner and cheaper. Go Michelle Phan!!!!!!!

  • Please answer! Could i use rubbing alchol instead of brush clenser?

  • @MsAlex0854 that'll destroy your brushes, especially with natural hair brushes. if you don't want to spend the money on an actual brush cleaner, use dish soap

  • Thanx that was helpful I luv ur videos:)

  • thanx that was helpfull now i going to clean my brushes.

  • wow your foundation is perfect!!

  • thank u for telling me how to clean my makeup brushes

  • Tip for spot cleaning : pour the brush cleaner into a spray bottle from the dollar store or z old body spray bottle (wash it out first) then all u need is one spray o your brush and u can spot clean without pouring a bunch on a tissue :)

  • I don't have a brush cleanser. Is there another method I can use that doesn't really involve water so I can use my brushes nearly instantly?

  • @Krvales goosmakeupartist here in YT said 99% alcohol...if you want to check

  • this was michelle phan idea!!!!!!

  • @159Starfire tons of people use this method, it's not exactly something someone made up...

  • @159Starfire Oh dear Lord, when did Michelle Phan invent every single thing!? C'mon a ton of people use this method and it doesn't mean she was the one who came up with the idea....

  • @159Starfire Actually this is not Michelle Phan's idea. She used Olive oil and dish soap. Maybe if you ACTUALLY watched Michelle's video and Tiffany's you would know the difference.

  • @ilovegleexoxo1 you can use baby shampoo.

  • if you dont have the mac cleanser what else can you use to clean them? i would like to no asap so i can use them for new years eve which is in 2 days... thanks!!!

  • Thank you for the great tips.

  • Can I use like..shampoo ??

  • @TheMissAlta Just to let you know e.l.f. has brush cleaner for $3 :) I don't know if money is the problem (it is for me), but I hope this helps. p.s. e.l.f. is sold at target :)

  • @TheMissAlta baby shampoo works for deep cleaning :)

  • @TheMissAlta A sephora's saleswoman tell me that actually the way to clean brushes (with shampoo and sometime mask for dry brushes)

sorry for my english I'm french

  • How long will it take for my stippling brush to dry?

  • Why do people have to be so rude? I think she's really pretty!

  • Japonesque...is what is at Ulta. It works great, but has an odor that isn't too pleasing about it.

  • The Mac store ...

  • Where do u buy the Mac cleaner??

  • @PaloIsRAWR From...MAC ?

  • how long does one bottle last you? (the mac cleaner)

  • u look like celine dion 0.0

  • That is an awesome technique!

  • What the hell is wrong with you all ? Get your faces up on here and see what we all think of yours !! If you have an issue with anything don't watch and run along... I personally think she looks gorgeous and her videos are great !

  • @luckyalaa So?? what if she is chinese? u fucking racist stop being jealous you know you wanna look like her.

  • 9 minutes, really ? -_-

  • appropriate?

  • i think she is adorable, you haters!

  • Did she say she had a makeup room....

  • idk what it is... but her face looks odd.

  • @jamieisfromthemoon u think too?

  • @cuteybear25 yeah but i think its her lips theyre realy small

  • you look a bit like allthatglitters21.

  • @ammarah76 i dont see it except maybe.... the hair

  • OMG HER LIPS ARE SMALL. WTF.

  • @MariahsBeauty are you being serious...do you think when she was born or something she had the ability to choose what size lips she wanted or something

  • your lips is way too small for your mouth.

  • where do u get mac brush cleaner and how much does it cost

  • you're a twat. kandeejohnson or michellephan explained it so much better.

  • @0bittersweetapathy0 because she's bad at explaining things, she is a twat?

  • Do you think eye makeup remover will work?

  • Kool

  • what eyeshadow are you wearing?? it's soo pretty!

  • useful but she talks alot

  • @Chakchooka I agree!

  • Can't you use a face toner to spot clean your brushes?

I mean, mine has alcohol in it.

  • i like your hair ^_^

  • on the mac cleaner's box it written that you need to rinse them well after cleaning :) is it ok not to rinse them? :) x

  • @GanjaGirl96 Im here on the run because shape shifting alien bounty hunters are trying assassinate government whistle blowers like myself. I was the first to expose that dinosaurs never existed. That they were in fact part of the globalist banking military industrial pharmaceutical complex Eugenics program funded by the global elite as a means to separate the masses from the Great Spirit by pushing their evolution agenda. Dont tell anyone.

  • Maybe if girls didnt use makeup that is made with toxic poisonous chemicals and tortured animal byproducts they wouldnt have to clean their brushes.

  • @mustaffa1611 why are you here? Go away.

  • @mustaffa1611

I respect your views, & your right to express them, but this is not the correct way to do it. Tiffany seems to be perfectly lovely, & she is a very popular girl with over 400,000 followers on this You Tube channel alone. If you would learn to be constructive, respectful & articulate, you could reach quite an audience. Beauty addicts are not mindless morons, & lines like Beauty Without Cruelty demonstrate that consumers respond to an eloquent, reasoned argument, with alternatives.

  • would nail varnish remover work...? i'm gonna try :D

  • @ellawx it works really well! tnx 4 the idea :) x

  • @ellawx Umm...wouldn't suggest. Use anti bacterial soap (with water) . The one prom Palmolive is good. Or for example MAC brush cleanser (it lasts you forever - she just uses way too much of it).

  • @ellawx dont because it may ruin the bristles and stuff

  • @ellawx Nail varnish remover will severely damage your brushes. It will strip all of the oils that the brush came with and the bristles may break.

  • you can't dry your brushes on the side and right side up, if you dry it on the side/right side up that will also get water in the farrell. You'll either need the brush guard ( which are 5.50 on the brush guard.com) and put that on the brush and leave it upside down in a glass. or you can take all your brushes and use a rubber band and wrap it around all your brushes and leave it on a doorknob or something and leave it overnight to dry. (:

  • how much is the mac cleaner?

  • @Imogenloves I looked it up on the MAC website & it's around $13

  • Comment removed

  • love it thanks!

  • @ilovesweets12344 stop trollin and get a life :')

  • @ilovesweets12344 So are you (:

  • thanks so much for this!

  • I just use soap and water. It works lol

  • @Lolalovettlover Soap and water may remove a lot of the essential oils from the bristles and damage the brush in the long run. Try adding a bit of EVOO to it to replenish all of the lost oils.

  • @Lolalovettlover It works but sometimes higher quality brushes stay softer with different care. More time consuming though :/

  • @Lolalovettlover It can make your bristles fall out and they wont last as long. Plus makeup is still left on the brush and isn't good for your skin.

  • @Lolalovettlover it also dries out your brushes, but antibacterial dish soap and extra virgin olive oil works. the soap gets the germs out and the EVOO keeps them hydrated :)

  • u talk to much!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • omg you talk so much. just get to the point of the video. my god.

  • @juicypear well its only 12 dollars so i think its worth it cause it works great !!!

  • @makeupangel1300 thanks :D

  • You remind me of Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter!

  • @HubbaHubbaLady The grown up, makeup guru Luna Lovegood, of course. Haha.

  • what do you use to wash it if you dont have brush cleaning stuff?

  • THANK YOU!!Haha I used my sister makeup remover and it worked :D.

  • this is rubbish it did NOT work !!!

  • I JUST did this because i still remembered your original video that i watched about a year ago. THANK YOU! So helpful :) AND i won't waste all of my MAC brush cleanser thanks to your method!

  • can i use a make-up remover tissue to clean my brushes???

  • do u have to use brush cleaner?

  • i REALLY loveee your makeup in this videoo! <3 is there a tutorial?

  • Is there a tutorial on your makeup in this video??? Its really pretty!

  • i like ur makeup !! do a tutorial of it!!

  • doesn't this tutorial shows us on 'how to clean makeup brushes?' too much talking not enough cleaning!!

  • does just water work?

  • @lLoveMyDucks If you want to clean your brushes really well, I recommend using a mild shampoo in warm(ish) water. However, you do need at least 30 minutes (depends on how many brushes) to clean them. Brush cleaner is convenient for when you need to use the same brush, for multiple colours.

  • @5O2Boo I'm not Tiffany (obviously) but I do use a wipe if I need the brush quickly while doing my makeup and it has a color on it already. I don't know that I would do it as a method of cleaning my brushes regularly. My onion, for what it's worth :-)

  • I also use MAc brush cleaner.. I think they work fine.

  • @donttouchthispls and you arent?

  • @donttouchthispls geez go look in the mirror before you judge ppl especially if you state facts that so arent true

  • i just use shampoo and condition and so far my brushes have lasted 3 years :D

  • what bronzer do u use?? please reply!!

  • were did you get your vanity?

  • were did you get your vanity???? i want one but i did know were to get one..... but you are very pretty

  • Can u use rubbing alcohol

  • Someone PLEASE tell me what the second brush she used here was . I'm desparate!!!

  • @EmilyGrace137xx I think it's the mac 187 duo fibre brush.

  • This is great, but as i don;t have the MAC brush cleanser at the moment i just use a few glugs of extra virgin olive oil with a pump of anti-bacterial organic hand soap and swiirl it around the rinse with warm water and this really works :)

  • What eyeshadow are you wearing?

  • you are so pretty and you have flawless skin! soo jealous !

  • helloo ! is it working on brushes from other brands ? (not from mac) Like BhCosmetics ?

    Thankss X-o-X

  • YEAH!!! Totally agree. Found the same problems, plus I'm lazy, LOL Thanks Tiffany!

  • can you clean it with make-up remover?

  • How often can you clean your brushes without damaging them ? And how often should you clean them ? Spot and deep cleaning .

  • Cant I just use Alcohol?

  • How often can you use the MAC brush cleanser without damaging the brush?

  • THANK YOU!

  • cant we blow dry our brushes? lol

  • @Ciiircles nah it'll make them prickly and shit

  • @Ciiircles hehe i do that :P

  • @Ciiircles if they are natural bristles probably, but its best to let them air dry lol

  • @Ciiircles heckkkksss to the no! youd melt the glue, and mess the bristles up.. you might as well put yer money through the shredder.

  • hmm i did that once and it killed the bristles on my brushes! i blow dried it with cold air and it just expanded my brushes which is awful! so from previous experience i strongly recommend that you don't blow dry them:/

  • @Ciiircles no because it will damage them

  • @Ciiircles no because it will damage them

  • thank youuuu for this!

  • wow she do look like celing dion.

  • what can you use as an alternative to the mac brush cleaner?

  • @juicypear07 you can use anti bacterial soap and extra virgin olive oil. michelle phan did a video on it and it works so well and its very inexpensive(:

  • @juicypear07 Water Mixed With Washing Up Liquid, For me it works BETTER!!!

  • @GraceRomainePidgley Unfortunately, washing up liquid is easier but damages the hair used in the brushes in the same way it would your own hair. The MAC brush cleaner has alcohol as well as some natural oil to condition. You can make this yourself and put it in a sprayer for regular cleaning and deep clean with olive oil and then regular shampoo, and finally the MAC solution to disinfect. For a quick clean between shadows you can dip the brush in loose face powder and wipe it on a tissue.:-)

  • @juicypear07 baby shampoo. :)

  • @juicypear07 there's the Face Secrets brush cleaner which i find MUCH better than the Mac . and after it dries ur brushes smell amazing (:

  • Thank you everyone for answering my question multiple times. Ive gotten an anwser to this so many times you dont even know. I have many great anwsers and would like not to recive anymore...thank you.

  • @juicypear07 I think the brush cleanser EnKore shows how to make in his video would be very similar to MACs as it is also alcohol based....

  • @MissKrisNails sorry didnt see ur request not to get more replys until too late :o( oopsydoddle!

  • @juicypear07 e.l.f (eyeslipface) has a great brush shampoo that is relatively cheap, you should check it out :) hope it helps!

  • @juicypear07 Go to Enkore and he will show you how to make one just like MAC.

  • @juicypear07 you can use the sephora wich is also good or make your own wich is amazing! i think it workes better then the mac cleanser you can go to enkoremakeup's channel and find the home made video there!

  • @juicypear07 coastal scents has a brush cleaner and it's only $8

  • @juicypear07 Baby shampoo or elf brush shampoo.

  • @juicypear07 had you try the Sephora on...for me is great

  • @juicypear07 um baby shampoo

  • @juicypear07

I've never used the mac brush cleaner but watching videos on it, it seems like it's not the best cleaner to use. If you notice, after she says she cleaned the brushes, you can still see a tiny bit of makeup left on them. I use Parian Spirit brush cleaner. It's a citrus cleaner that not only removes product thoroughly but it also disinfects and conditions your brushes. It cleans better than any other brush cleanser i've seen and the brushes literally dry within 3 seconds.

  • It has also removed stains (such as lipstick) from my brushes that weren't able to come off before with other cleansers.

  • @juicypear07 anti-bacteria dish soap & extra virgin olive oil

  • @juicypear07 ALCOHOL, the mac brush cleaner is alcohol based

  • @juicypear07 olive oil and dish soap. Honestly that's what I use and I find that they are cleaner and softer after I soak them in the oil and then scrub them clean with soap.

  • @pinkloislane You're not even funny. Why are you wasting your time on hating on people?

  • @pinkloislane first you gotta go to a good informational video or a how to, and then spend more time hating on them when they couldnt give a fuck less about you, then BAM! you got a troll. but thanks for trying to have a "comeback" sounds like my little sister said that.

  • wow i just put my brush in vinager and that neutralizes and cleans the oil etc 3 dollars and very effective then dry it and tada

  • makeup tutorial?!

  • i just wash my brushes with normal soap(dish soap) and mix it with canola oil, put it in my palm, and just swipe and clean the brush in my hand then just wash it off with water and leave it to dry overnight, its easy.and my brushes smell good. I do this for my painting brushes(canvas) andtried it on the makeup ones, it works fantastic ;)

  • The "brush like this" is a stippling brush! =/ 0:55

  • ok i have a question ok so u no how u said its achol based can you just use achol to clean your brush.. like rubbing achol o?

  • ALCOHOL BASED CLEANSERS ARE BAD FOR BOTH NATURAL AND SYNTHETIC BRUSHES. USUALLY ONLY USED FOR COMMERCIAL REASONS, BY PROFESSIONALS WHO NEED THEM TO DRY QUICKLY AND CAN REPLACE BRUSHES EASILY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ALCOHOL BASED CLEANSERS FOR THE EVERY DAY MAKE-UP USER, BRUSHES ARE EXPENSIVE.

  • @PinkBotox lol why are you yelling?

  • @Sumosabie Not yelling just using caps...lol ;-)

  • @PinkBotox why?

  • @PinkBotox AMEN, I could never use this method wih my Trish Mcevoy collection.

  • And stuff

    And stuff

    And stuff…

    Come on!

  • great video!! I can agree it was a HASSLE to clean my brush before w/ baby shampoo- the waiting for it to dry, etc. This is much easier. Thanks!!
