@XxocarabxX I would say it's a little on the soft side. high cg = lot of body roll and the rear just sags waaay too much for my liking lol. pre-load spacers come in handy.

Great vid. To bad half of it seemed low quality and then about half-way through everything stops being so pixelated and looks great. I would have to assume software. I saw 240fps and was hoping for some ultra slo-mo but oh well.

I have a slash vxl. If you race, stick to the xl-5. W/ the vxl the drivetrain breaks too often. fast as crap though.

i got the traxxas ez peak charger, it will charge it in about 45 mins to an hour. And the run time is like 20 - 30 mins i guess.

Oh yeah most definitely. My buddy says we should buy at least 2 or 3 batteries, that way we can just keep going and going haha. So we won't have to wait on one to charge.

yeah the problem is decent batteries(i recommend an nimh with a rating of 3000 or higher for a first kit, plus that will send the slash plenty fast enough) cost upward of thirty bucks. and three of those is like a hundred bucks or more.

Slash can take lots of abuse. If you drive it carefully then you don't use it's full potential. And what if something breaks, spare parts are quite cheap. :)
