  • Is there a chance to get this runing on a 3032 ? Sound wont be necessary..

  • impressive

  • I remember back in around 1982 or so David Dixon (from Vancouver, BC, Canada) wrote a high-res demo on the Pet by switching characters on the fly as the raster beam was still drawing them. He had worked out all of the combinations of characters needed to turn on each pixel and then it generated self modifying code to make it all run fast enough.

  • that's hot stuff!

  • cool =)

  • very impressive!

does the PET really have sound capabilities? i've never seen a PET demo with sound before

  • @magicmaestro2991 Yes the later 4xxx/8xxx machines have a built-in 1-bit 'piezo' beeper, the earlier machines could use a homebrew device that plugged into the parallel port. A recent alternative (which we also support in the demo) is the 'PetSID' card, a real c-64 SID chip in a box attached to the machine. Luckily the latter device only requires address changes to get c-64 music running native, we had support for it working 5 minutes after finding out about it. :)

  • Nice work!!!

  • Waw. Great job!!

  • Wow. REALLY amazing, I had no idea the PET could do demos that well! ;-D

Were the gfx made by Leon & Mirage themselves or somehow converted?

    Thanks for the greetings btw!
