im stuck on the torture chamber too -.- but i think i got it so far , but what i really want to ask is how come when you went up the stairs on 6:41 you passed up the demon snake thingy (srry can't remember the name of it) couldn't you get more orbs from killing it?

@RicardoTheAce Mainly because it's a platforming puzzle that, forced me at least, to use unique timing and moving to get the jumping correct. It also forces you into a fight every time you fail, which is quite annoying; even you must've felt some kind of arrogance during those tries of yours, or maybe not.

@KitiBajer I believe the blue colored ones can only be destroyed by Nero, wherein the red ones can only be destroyed by Dante. You just have to combo them long enough.

Thank you! Holding back the analog left stick really worked for me. Didn't use the mid jump pause/un lock target thing but maybe I was lucky. Nice to see it wasn't just me thinking the torture chamber is a fucking torture

I usually found that if I hold the Left Analog Stick towards Nero's back, so your moving away, you float upwards while you're traversing the gap, making it easier. I hope that helps.

try in human mode, is more easy and then when u have the devil trigger try in normal level(with dt on), or you can try using streak and snatch ^ ^

Get Exceed Level 3 and do a level 3 High Roller followed by a Kick Jump or Air Hike to get on top.

Oh and BTW, after this bit the game looks to be getting really good, classic Devil. TBH I've only done a couple levels after this but gonna have a do tonight. Small hint...big boss...its like the bosses are bigger on this one but remember bosses on DMC3...like that witch on the opera stage bit before you get the guitar! wow what a game hope this is gonna be as good

if you are having promblems with getting across the torture chamber you should use the devil hunter REALLY fast after you travel through the air. remember you have to do it real FAST to travel in a straight line and not hit the spikes.

it's verry HARD i watched your video 100 times but i can't get on the other side....to you have other sugestions?

You have to time it just right. I believe holding back on the left analog stick while your doing it makes you go straighter for some reason, and lets you cross much easier. Just do that, and time it right for all the floating orbs, and you should get it. If this doesn't help, I recommend going on GameFAQS or something like that.

Good vid. I would have never thought to use the buster to lower yourself to avoid the spikes. I will have to try this, because trying this level in LDKM, is killing me when I fall down. Because fighting 10 fire dogs every time you fall, SUCKS

The top of the torture chamber (where you have to use the grim grip to get across) is doing my head in! I'm embarrassed to say this, these were some of my favorite games on the PS2. I'll have to get back into it and have a proper crack at it, I kept falling when I hit the spikes.

Came back for another crack after disowning the game for like a month coz of this bit....managed to do it! 2nd attempt too.

Right, to do it anyone, MAKE SURE that the blue floaty orbs are TARGETED ie highlighted by the blue circle BEFORE you press your devil bringer/grim grip button. If you press before your R button targets, it will be too late, and it will target, but by that time Nero will have fallen ever so slightly and when it does grip you will be pulling upwards and hit into the spikes
