You know when you go to an arena show and they have a big screen to show what's going on to the people who are far, far away? Well, this is a recording of the live video being broadcast on the jumbotron with board audio. Somebody threw a tape in and recorded it, either an employee of the venue or someone in the band crew. Every show played at a big venue could've been recorded like this! Danny is a quality control freak, he won't even release the rarities, let alone anything like this!

From personal experience, it's almost impossible to hear yourself in the monitors when the drums and bass are there, so it's hard to stay perfect, even as a trained and experienced vocalist.

I remember seeing Boingo at Red Rocks in 1989 with the Red Hot Chili Peppers opening (just after Mothers Milk). Elfman pulled "aint this the life" off as the final encore, and couldnt remember the lyrics, had to grab a notebook with them. great show, great day
