I was lucky to have a good friend who was also an atheist in high school. We grew up in the bible belt so it was hard to find anyone else who was. It amazes me how not blindly believing what you're told to believe can even BE discriminated against.

Margaret was president in 2008 when AAI had its annual convention at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. @ 4:58, Bruce gives this info. The 2009 convention was in Burbank. The 2010 convention was in Canada.
