what EXACTLY is the meaning of this song?  As in: what inspired the writer to write these words? what were his intentions? does he say anything about what he meant?

Not to be rude but I don't want the usual "it's about freedom, blah blah" or "it's open to interpretation." Anyway, no one is obligated to say anything. But this song makes me pretty curious. What did he mean exactly?

I think a camera toward the horizon is a perfect idea to make a video.

I live in a place, where I can get by walking on a road which leads to horizon.

In a sunny summer days I saw the perfect view: a green field, the sky - where clouds moving like that backgrownd melody playing on synths, and the sun some time comes out like that high synth notes which is from the end of the chorus.

It does perfect when you also travel by trane and look on a view from window.

Heard this in Nottingham outdoors on a visit as a kid. Never even saw where it was coming from - it sounded live. I did not forget the memory. "More Than This". Even the title is music.

That picture is almost perfect, the next best thing would only be a live image with the camera moving towards the horizon ! Apart from that, Manzanera's mesmeric guitar and those dreamy keyboard spheres in the background are well reflected with those elements and colours of nature...
