@umair512
Dear Umair where are you from if I may ask
I'll try to upload a presentation with the plans the motor wiring
And any other relevant stuff needed to complete this project.
Actually I have decided to drop this and buy a ready kit it costs a bit more
But I don't have to build it and lose time (which I don't have)
So it was a good practice.
Good luck

Why are you ussing a heat sink on your l298?

@jaspers22
This item gets very hot because it relays between the motor and the card
and it consists of transistors wich as you know gets realy hot when switched repeatedly .
hi, do u hace schematics for L298 IC alone used for 12v motor?

Could you give me schematics ? or link where you found schematics? please :)

@MrRadjevic
I'll try to send it as soon as possible .
I've seen your comment at work so it's not at reach .
I wouldn't mind if you nagged , good day .
@MrRadjevic I have seen one on either the 298 or 297 datasheet.

Love It. You are just like me.
(see my video)
I was building my own drivers but it worked out cheaper to buy them pre- made but I learned a lot

so now i understand it ....., all what you need just 2 wires from the printer port the step and dirction , was the right

using the L297 would give me a simpler
control over the stepper motor (Number of steps , direction) .
if the stepper motor needs more than 5V to run you won't be able to use the L297
(it can't handle these ratings).

i like it allot , but why do you use the L297 while you have l298 ?? i think the l298 can do work alone !!
